We did a lot of research prior to finding Nancy who could give Charlie a show cut - even though he is not a show dog. She has a lot of experience and Charlie always looks amazing. We are extremely pleased with her grooming skills.

I also appreciated the minimal wait before being taken back which limited my dogs exposure to other pets as she gets VERY excited seeing other animals. The Dr. was amazing and the assistant explained all prescriptions and dosages thoroughly.

Checked in at 245 for my 3pm appt and was in a room immediately. Dr Richie and his tech were awesome. We were in and out in 25 mins with full care and preventative measures applied. Highly recommend Five stars ? for sure

Dr Robert was great getting to know our 15 y/o cat and his history and helping us keep him healthy as long as possible. Our dog is extremely anxious going to vet and they are great with her. Even with her behavioral issues they have been very thorough with her. She is a big dog so they could easily say no way we are not dealing with her and I couldn’t blame them. But Dr. Ritchie and his staff are beyond great with her!

6550 Hampton Roads Pkwy #113, SuffolkMy girlfriend and I brought daisy in late at night because she developed cluster seizures and they helped keep us calm even over the phone walked us through what to do until we got there and once we arrived they met us out side got daisy to the back and taken care of immediately even with them being busy it was a dream for how straight forward and comforting they handled it and kept us up to date when she had to stay over night for two nights to get fully stabilized they took such great care of daisy and us as her worried owners , worth every dollar and even got a good bit of money back from the prepaid balance truly the best quality and care I could of asked for would recommend 10/10 times I could go on and on about how great they all have been thank you to the entire team

Krystyna runs a great team; the most impressive part is the reliability – in the course of our time with them, there has never been a late or missed appointment. In addition, they send pictures and a status update upon each visit! The status update includes pictures of my dogs and what was done during the visit (bathroom, play, love, feeding, etc). Seeing these updates, truly sets us at ease during the day knowing that our dogs are getting love and attention! Would recommend A Barking Good Time for anyone needing the services they provide.

2443 Freeman Mill Rd, SuffolkWe have not one, not two, but THREE Graystone pups. Brought the first one home in June of 2018, and the second in June of 2019, and adopted the third from Mike in 2023. First one from the old facility, the second and third from the new. We have had had many doggy social visits with both Mikes (senior and Junior), as well as other Graystone owners since (Mike has family reunions for all his pups and for anyone else who wants to attend.)BOTH facilities were top notch in cleanliness. BOTH facilities had conditioned air birthing kennels. BOTH facilities had numerous, well cared for and socially well adjusted adult dogs you could visit with. ALL dogs received extensive socialization,vas well as exposure to common noise elements etc. Both of our dogs are perfectly comfortable around fireworks, firearms, thunder, etc.We have been in ten or eleven dog classes with our pups now, and I can tell you that THERE IS A DIFFERENCE between these dogs and 90% of the others we've seen in class. They are extremely well behaved and take to training as easily as they do to food.Two plus years later, whenever our older dog hears Mikes' voice in a video, or on speakerphone, he instantly stops and pays attention. TWO YEARS later. He does this with nobody elses voice. The Mikes STILL know the color of each of our dogs collars when they were puppies there. We cannot take our dogs anywhere without getting complimented.You simply CANNOT do better than a Graystone Farms dog. I will happily respond to any questions at any time.

124 Forest Glen Dr, SuffolkWe adopted our cat Daisy from the shelter about 1.5 years ago. She was considered 'high risk' due to the previous owner claiming she had attacked their toddler. My husband wanted her regardless and she has proven to be a wonderful addition to our household. She definitely needed some TLC at first and we had to navigate some bad behavior, but she is the best! Cats are different from dogs and sometimes people shouldn't own them due to their individual personalities and needs. Understanding that this is a "thing" with cats is very important. She is now our sweet, floofy girl, who has a DEFINITE personality and we respect that. She is awesome! Thank you to the Suffolk Animal Shelter for taking her in and allowing us the opportunity to adopt her!
