When people say, all car dealershop are the same. They make you feel like your getting a good deal but in reality, the dealership will always have the upper edge. True, but at least provide you with good service. What is good service??? If your in search of a new Chevy or GMC, Duke is one place to go for what I consider top notch customer service in buying a new vehicle. To start with; after arriving on the car lot and seeing the vehicle that I was interested in, it was but a few seconds that a sales rep come out from the show room to the car lot to greet me. Something that I did not received from the other dealerships on Military highway. Maybe its the way I was dressed (dirty jeans, t-shirt, and a ripped jacket) that gave the aura of... "Nope, he ain't got no money to buy a twuck, he just lookin, ain't gonna spend no time on him" attitude:-))))) The Duke sales rep was more than happy to get the keys to the vehicle that Iwas interested in and other vehicles for comparison of the interior, accessories, and functionality. I was only interested in a Silverado to haul around my kayak but after making the comparison with assistance from the Duke's rep, I decided to get a GMC. Same truck platform but with just a touch of add-ons for convenience:-)))) There was no pressure to buy but rather just plain ole customer service. As an example, explaining the differences in the models between Pro, SLE, Elevation, AT4 & X, Denali, Ultimate, functionality, accys, & more. Then comes the incentives (manufacturer & dealership) /assistance in buying a truck. Reminds me of a vendor in Istanbul - "Hi Mister, how can I help you spend your money" :-))) I did not buy a truck that night as I wanted to further compare prices online. Visiting GMC.com and using 'True Car', I entered the exact specs of the GMC at Duke's and multiple dealerships in Hampton Roads appeared as either having it on the lot, inbound, or can be ordered. Unfortunately, they were the same dealership that ignored me and their asking price was a few $K more than Duke. Summarizing and knowing where the numbers would fall, I returned the following day to see if the numbers would fall in the right places. They did!!! With No fuss, no muss, no gimmicks. I would say, at Duke you are treated as a Customer and not just a number or source of revenue. Hats off to Heather for providing a very welcoming customer service at Duke Automotive!!!!!

Four years later we still use Duke for all our vehicle purchases and vehicle service needs. Still never had a problem. Still love coming here. Will continue to come here. BTW we recently had to use the collision center and it was amazing as well.

My experience purchasing a new 2023 Corvette Stingray was amazing. The team at Duke Chevrolet made the process so simple and easy, with no gimmicks, and they stand behind their word when they say "no markup or market adjustment." The representatives really nice and accommodating. Also, I was surprised how quickly my car was completed with the oil change and state inspection services. This is the best auto service department I ever used.
