The salon is clean and everyone who works there is friendly. When I went in my hair was a tangled mess. I left with a Diva attitude. ? They will handle all of my hair care needs. I especially like that I was given instructions on how to care for my hair and when I should return. I spent almost $100 but I had A LOT of work done

I took my daughter in on Sunday, made an appt for a kids cut and got assigned someone. I didn't catch her name but she was an older lady. Seemed very nice, but boy did she butcher my daughters hair. It was hard to tell right away because her hair was still wet when we left. But when it fully dried we saw the extent of the damage. My daughter had waist length hair in a V shape. I asked for a trim and to keep the same shape. She went very short, and she tried to cut across in a straight line. I say try because the ends looked chomped and jagged. So my girl lost so many unnecessary inches in hair, lost her shape, and didn't even end up with even ends. I debated just moving on but my neighbor saw her and asked if I came to this location. She said she wasn't surprised because the same thing happened to her. So be warned, this seems to be a consistent issue at this location.

Lauren at the Harbor View location provided excellent service. She is friendly and professional; and listened carefully to what I was looking for. I highly recommend her!

It was terrible for my hair dyeing duties. I wanted highlights but she dyed my whole head and said it was $160 when I asked the price but asked me $250 when it was done? My grandmother did not like the dyeing she did. Will never return to this place again!!!

I took my son in this evening to get his haircut. I said SEVERAL times that he was growing it out and we wanted to keep the length and just wanted it cleaned up. He went from having a shaggy hairdo that he was growing out to something uneven and terrible. She did what she wanted and did a terrible job at that. All his hard work to grow out his hair was thrown out the window. The back is uneven also. I voiced my concern that this is not what we wanted and that she needed to stop cutting his hair because there was no fixing it at this point. I even asked the other stylist her thoughts and she didn’t say anything. She went and called her manager and was going to have her manager come and fix it. I said no. I did not want anybody to touch his hair anymore so she told me that I can leave. No apology or anything. There is no excuse for this if you’re a professional. She tried to blame it on a colic but he’s 10 and had his hair cut plenty of times and there is no colic on either side of the front of his hair. My poor child is disappointed and upset. So thank a lot. And who doesn’t apologize????

My appointment was 5:30 . I walked in 10 minutes before to check in and the lady at the desk didn’t even say anything to me not a hello hey do you have an appointment NOTHING. I then sat and waited almost 15 minutes while 2 employees was just walking around when they could’ve helped me . Very unprofessional won’t be coming back again don’t recommend this place.

I received a "NO SHOW" email. This is hilarious...what a joke!!! I will NEVER EVER EVER EVER even think about going to a Hair Cuttery every again because of this place.I made the appointment for my daughter for 3:15p for a quick trim and was there at 3:15p. We waited, and waited...and then they took a walk-in. And we waited some more...and by 4:25p, the girl who was supposed to be cutting my daughter's hair was still working on the walk-in (I guess because it was a guy and she thought he was going to be quick she took him before us though he continued to be unhappy with what she was doing). So, we left.THANKS FOR WASTING MY TIME, HAIR CUTTERY, and then sending me some stupid email about being a no-show when your employees can't manage to stay on schedule with some basic haircuts!

Hello, I really wanted to give this location a good review. In full transparency, today is President's Day, a federal holiday observed by many. We decided to take advantage of a day off to get my 13 yo daughter's hair cut (just a trim) with the understanding we may have to wait. We walked in and were told they would fit us in. We waited about 25 minutes and then heard one hairdresser say to the other after she finished with her client that there was someone else waiting in the parking lot. We waited a bit longer and nothing was said to us. We decided to leave. If they truly wanted our business, they would have said, "thanks for waiting, we have one, two, three, etc. in front of you, we will be with you in about x minutes." But we got nothing and were left wondering how long we would have to wait. We will gladly spend our money somewhere else where we feel like we will receive service and a decent haircut. I am thankful for the opportunity to tactfully show my daughter the appropriate way to deal with a business that does not care to receive our business. We will not return and will ensure our hard-earned money supports a business that cares about its clients.
