I have been using Griffin Oil & Propane for two years, they come in a timely matter, the price is reasonable and they are respectful. We only use propane for appliance and other companies turned us down because of that and Griffin took us on.. I am thankful for that.

BUYER BEWARE. My husband and I just built a brand new custom home. Our builder recommended Griffin but all they ended up doing is scamming us out of $1600 for what they claim was for pipe installation that they had to install on behalf of the builder since the builders plumber didn't do his job. Griffin never informed me of any sort of pipe installation nor did they ever provide an estimate for the pipe installation. They only price they informed me of was for the price of filling our tank. Our builder was the one who contacted them to install propane to our home, therefore just like all of our other contractors who worked on the house the billing should have gone to him. Yet instead of Griffin billing the builder, they fraudulently charged my credit card for $2700 without my knowledge or authorization. I had to then file a dispute with my credit card to get my money back. Since they did not have my authorization nor a contract that I approved the cost of the pipes they knew they didn't have a leg to stand on so they used disconnecting my propane from my house to which I just paid $1100 to fill the tank to force me into paying a bill that was not mine. They did this solely to collect the money that the builder owed them. Griffin and the builder always do business together so they came up with what they called a "credit memo" to try and make it out like the builder was going to pay a portion of the fee and leave me with a balance of $1600. The manager Chris had already stated after I contacted them about the unauthorized charge that they had made a mistake and that the total charge should have been $1100 for the installation which means they are a bunch of liars and scam artists. I was given no choice to pay them the $1600 if I wanted them to turn back on the propane that I had already PAID for!!! They are guilty not only of being a bad company with bad business ethics but also guilty of coercion. Take this as a warning and do yourself a favor and DONT USE THIS COMPANY!

I would highly recommend Griffin oil and propane! They were great every step of the way from the time we got our quote to putting in our tank! Lee was very informative and answered all of my questions upon installation. We will definitely be using them again!

The price was rediculous, poor workmanship, left huge holes in my yard. Joe was very rude, I asked to speak to his boss but never got a call. Luckily I bought the tank so I can use another company to fill it. Steer clear of them or you could be the next one that gets their treatment which isn't good

We purchased a new 500-gallon tank and it looks amazing. They were very prompt with filling up the tank, and their tanks are new and in excellent conditions. Will never require the service from this company again. We built a brand new home that was ran for gas hookups. Devin is the name of the worker who chose to lie and over charge us for services he did not render. When asked about it multiple times his story keeps changing. He did not provide the service he said he did. We were charged $375 for hooking the tank up and that’s what we expected to pay. He did not have to run lines due to the house already being set for gas. Days later we received a charged for over $700. When asked why he proceeded to lie again. Even our builder was shocked at the price because they work with this company on their other builds. He lied and said he had to convert the house over to gas. That right there was the first lie. Then proceeds to say he did 4hrs work, another lie. Then said he had to come back to the property. That was another lie. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS GREEDY COMPANY!!!

We just moved to Virginia from Florida and have never had a real fireplace or dealt with any appliance that uses gas. We paid almost $400 to have our tank filled which is the only heating source for our living room, through the gas fireplace. We were told by the tech that inspected the tank that it would be extremely difficult or nearly impossible to use all 100 gallons of our gas within a year and that we get penalized ($/gallon) if we don't use all 100 gallons within a year. He recommended, since we only have the fireplace connected to the gas, to run it as much as we could and have it serve as the primary heat source for the rest of the lower floors as it would save us on our electric bill also. So, we did as he said, and ran out of gas in one month's time. When we called the company and explained what happened they sent out another truck to refill our tank and charged us another $400 plus an extra $200 penalty fee. They wouldn't do anything to help us with the bill, and that was after the person in the office supposedly spoke to a manager. We are extremely disappointed that we were treated this way after following the recommendations of their own staff person who voluntarily offered us his advice. If there is a better company out there we will definitely be looking...
