“Kohls store 1216 in Suffolk VA is the store to shop at. The staff, mainly Mr. Eli and Mike are the absolute best. Most of the associates are very polite and always ready to assist you in finding merchandise or assisting you on your mobile app for more savings. The only complaint I have noticed with this location is the lack of carts. These shopping carts are very outdated and wobbly. The only ones available to customers are the ones with the baby seats. The Battlefield store have the nice gray carts and are very sturdy for whatever you have to place in them. Please update the Suffolk VA store to go along with the update of the cosmetics department and beautiful staff.”

“Who knew T.J. Maxx was the place to get dog toys at? A friend recently recommended that I come here for dog toys & they had SOOO many! I left with a bunch for a good price.”

“I stopped by this dollar tree after getting Starbucks and it was a nice time. I spent way more than I had intended here but they had several nice finds! I was so happy to find ninja turtle and Daniel Tiger items for my kiddos! I got nice Easter basket items as well. My hands were full by the time I got to the checkout. There were two self checkout lanes and two regular lanes. I was helped by a young man there and he was very friendly and nice! The store was a bit junky and dark however it just made the search for cool finds all the more fun.”

“This Big Lots is a good & solid department store. The Staff is always friendly & professional. They have alot of different product genres from food, to household items, to backyard accessories(gazebos), to household furniture. This is a overall good department store with reasonable prices.”

“I am updating my review from 3 years ago. The basic reason for the update and 4 stars is the pharmacy. I have been a Kroger customer for decades starting in Ohio where I lived 30 mikes from their Corporate Headquarters in Cincinnati. Stores located close to Corporate Headquarters are always the best because the regionals and store management are always on their toes. They never know when the suits from Corporate will stop by to check on things. Having worked in management in the retail/wholesale grocery industry for 13 years, I can tell you that is a fact. After I moved to the Peninsula I sought out the Yorktown Kroger because of familiarity and the ease of transferring my prescription meds from one store to another. And, then when I moved down from the Peninsula I again looked for the closest Kroger. This Marketplace store is not is not as good as the one I shopped in Ohio. They let many things slide and have ordering issues, especially in produce where they beat the produce to death causing spoilage issues and consequently stocking problems. My biggest complaint is their lack of attention and caring about keeping the electric carts charged and in good repair. As a disabled person I cannot grocery shop without an electric cart and I can seldom find one here. I have started just picking up my groceries curbside or having a competitor deliver to my home. Not my first choice but my only option. However, I have not stopped using the pharmacy. They are extremely efficient. I hear others complain about their pharmacy of choice and I don't experience any of those problems. They even answer the phone by the third ring EVERY time. I recently had to use another pharmacy company, because of supply chain problems, and it was a nightmare. It took 2 weeks to get the prescription filled and I only received it then because Kroger called them and straightened it out. THANK YOU TAYLOR!!! So with all it's flaws I think Barney Kroger would be proud.”

“Ross is generally a mess. Clothes thrown on the floor, no price tags, and long lines. This location, however, is doing it right. I don't feel like I'm in a thrift store. The employees are nice, and it's overall a very clean location. The mens section is consistent to size, meaning I'm not searching to find the right size through all the racks. The shoe section is incredible! I'm guessing not a whole lot of guys shop here, which is great for me. Of course, with Ross being more than just a clothing store, they sell much more. I was very excited when fall came around to check out what they have, they did not disappoint. When you go into a store like this, you expect to be waiting in a 20-minute line, not the case. It seems they are a big team and willing to help each other out. The ONLY super small thing I would change is the setup. The bathroom decor section is by the men's clothes off to a whole other section. Very very impressed with the cleanliness, can't get over that.”

“Your merchandise and employees are fine. However, the store has been having only 2 and 3 open registers open for customers and over-burdening the few employees checking out customers as well as causing long lines.”

“I have been using this pharmacy for about 2 years. They are always so kind and willing to help. Prescriptions are always ready quickly and they communicate well if something is on back order or if a dr needs to authorize a medication.”

“Well, we pulled up to this location with a goal in mind. My baby loves the Fruity Peebles treats and not all stores carry them. We recently noticed this chain carries them. Well I was in the area and I figured I would peek a boo in here to see if they have any. Yup!! Three boxes left, we grabbed them all! This store is a bit tight inside like most of the locations. But they have a lot of great finds in here. The cashier was friendly. No wait in line... plenty of parking. Nearby stores... not many, I think I spotted Aarons Rental and Planet Fitness. Across, Dominos. Check them out - have fun and enjoy life :)”

“The people who work at Walmart is very helpful and kind. I am handicapped and I cannot lift or reach. I have fractured vertebrae, and the employees always help me and they don't make me feel bad. They wait they're very kind and pleasant.”

“This grocery store is incredible. It is MASSIVE. Produce was fresh and decent prices. Large and varied beer/wine/spirits section for a grocery store. I came just for some bananas and beer after a delayed arrival flight, it was open until 23h00 on a Sunday which is nice. Will be back everytime I am in Suffolk!”
