Since moving to Suffolk in 1983, Chilton has been my go to place for automotive care. They are very reasonably priced. It may take a couple days to get my vehicle back but it's because they are extremely busy so evidently I'm not the only one who feels this way!

Good family run auto service. I was recommended to go here when my local tire service couldn’t service my car. 5 stars for customer service, they waited for me after closing so I could pick up my car, after I had a rough day flying and canceled flights. I would go to them again.

My late uncle recommend this shop to me years ago and they was pretty dependable for years. Took my Lexus there for a diagnostics and for two weeks they kept telling me they was working on it. Two weeks later they wouldn’t answer my calls or respond back to my voicemails. Call from different number they picked up smh.. after a month they told me I needed a pcm, paid almost $400 for the part that was installed and car still wouldn’t start.. after two months at the shop and a wasted $400 bucks I took car to dealership and they fixed my car in 2 days.. I also had a rip in my seat that wasn’t previously there! I wouldn’t recommend this shop for big jobs or electrical problems. Highly disappointedServices: General repairs & maintenance

I dropped my vehicle off to get a water and oil leaked fixed, after he told me to wait two weeks to bring it to him, because he was backed up. Dropped it off and Josh said he would look at it the next day. That next day turned in to two weeks and he never did look at it. I finally got fed up and took my car somewhere else. I wouldn’t suggest anyone to get service done here especially people that look like me. Josh was a nice guy, but he didn’t tell me the truth on several occasions. I’m changing his name from Josh, to the “Rug,” because he lies more than one.Service: General repairs & maintenance

This is the right place if you need repairs done on your vehicle. I've had service done on my 2018 Honda Fit at Chilton's and the repairs have been completed with expert care and quality parts. This is a Top Quality place to go if your vehicle needs repairs and you need the work done by expert technicians. I couldn't be happier with the work that they provided my great little car!This is my GOTO place for car repairs and service!

Avoid this place! I needed freeze plugs replaced and they did do that but what good does having them replaced do when water leaks past the new ones too. I could have just left the old ones in and been just as well off.I requested the plugs be re-seated and BB and Josh claimed to have accomplished this and stopped the leaking. I should have checked immediately but two months later I found that they had just poured stop leak into the radiator instead of re-seating the plugs.If stop leak is the best solution, tell me. If the engine needs to be removed to properly accomplish the job, tell me. I know good quality work isn't cheap.Believe the bad reviews about these guys. They further damage my vehicle and said it was our fault. My dashboard had to come off and they broke my radio screen and further damage my dashboard.They also had my car for almost a month and didn't fix anything saying the part was on back order for a month. Yet the dealership has no issue ordering the part. I couldn't wait any longer and had to pick up a further damaged and unfixed car.Service: Air conditioning
