Expensive, makes money based off the lack of knowledge of customers. Treats customers like trash. If you want to drop things with a label no QR code, than alright but don't go there and try use there products and services.

Woooow, be careful will charge your arm and leg for everything. I sent an envelope to MN for two days' delivery, and it charged me $84.06. FedEx will charge less than 1/2 of that.

Excessively overpriced! Went in with a large box and was quoted $230+ for shipping. Told repeatedly it was “oversized box.” Refused to pay that price so I took the package to UPS customer service center in Chantilly, VA and paid significantly less for shipping ($138 total with insurance) with a delivery on Wednesday this week. Postnet is a rip off.

Always awesome. I just wish they could scan Q codes, but most times I can get around that. They are always so polite and courteous, line moves quick, everyone speaks English! It's the same young men working there for years.

If you're just dropping a pre-packaged/pre-labeled item this is the place to go! It's a convenient location, and I've never had an issue with the staff. HOWEVER, if you are purchasing shipping GO ELSEWHERE. I have a friend I mail clothes to every so often, maybe a shirt or two, in a small bag, prepackaged, weighing not much more than a letter. I always ask for the cheapest option. Usually use the PO but this location is much closer for me; I was quoted $22 and change for a tiny lightweight bag with 3 sports bras in it. When I said I'd rather drive it to her for that price they quoted me $15. At that point I just sent it to get it to her but I'll never use them for anything that isn't pre-labeled.

Terrible service, I asked them to add an authorized user and they said I can't do it because the manager is not here without further help. Then called back and was told "just send them down" and when inquired about what that means, was told "please hold" then hung up, tried to call back and did not pick up, just terrible!

I wanted to wait a little to see if my opinion changed because I feel terrible about doing this to small businesses- and frankly, this is the closest shipping place to be house by about 10 minutes. However, the owner's actions effected MY small business too. I used PostNet to ship a laptop to a new employee. I understand more then anyone that mistakes happen, however, what I experienced here was absolutely uncalled for and it is how these mistakes are handled that make all the difference. I went to ship a laptop with a week to spare, only to have my new employee track the laptop to Lovettsville, VA- It was supposed to go to Fort Worth TEXAS. I learned from the person who received it, that Postnet shipped him something from his CEO the same day- so clearly, wires were crossed. I ended up having to drive to Lovettsville to retrieve the laptop, and pay $250+ to overnight it to UPS the next day- not only did this take 2 hours of my time, but it cost me a ton of money and the only thing I got in return was a refund from Postnet after being humiliated and treated like a criminal in the store. The owner really handled the situation extremely negligently and poorly. When I came to Postnet to ask them if they could figure out what happened, and if they could locate my now missing item, while we were trying to track down my item, he insisted they review the footage on the security camera to essentially exonerate them from blame (who has time for that?)- FYI, when people need something done, they don't care who's fault it is, they want a solution. Not to mention, as you'll read below, this was not a situation where I was to blame. Additionally, if he were to review the footage, he would have seen me jot down an address on a piece of paper for his employee FOR A TEXAS ADDRESS. This piece of paper clearly wasn't used. He also laughed at and mocked me for shipping using USPS vs Fedex or UPS- saying "why would I ship something so important via USPS?" I thought he must be kidding... because that is not how you de-escalate a situation. To add insult to injury, once I was able to calm down a little and move into problem solving mode after being blatantly insulted and mistreated, I started asking questions to which he played dumb- He said he didn't know who it went to, who rang me up, or how to reach that person. All this information was on the receipt that he tried to play keep-away from me once I handed it over. What this boils down to, is that receipt would have forced him to accept blame, and he just was not willing to do that. He also printed two SEPARATE shipping labels with the address in Lovettsville, the first one didn't have my return address- he ripped that out of my hands and replaced it with one that did have my address- to this day, I'm not sure if he literally made up the second label in another attempt to pass off blame. The person who received my laptop had a very similar name to the individual who was supposed to receive mine. Again, mistakes happen but how this was handled was incredibly unacceptable. Simply put, you do not treat people this way- especially someone who has paid to patronize your business. I was in hysterics near tears from the experience and I hope I can keep someone else from experiencing this as well.

Very convenient location for those one-off needs. Staff is efficient and certainly will meet your shipping needs. My review is for their assist with processing a digital passport photo. Ran in to take a quick photo- got 2 hard copy, one digital file within minutes to my email address. What should have been straightforward on the Dept. of State passport page turned into a guessing game as to what photo their tool would accept. This PostNet team accommodated several requests (one note went after hours- yet they answered in minutes) to resend files. Using the source file finally worked and was good enough for State to process my passport. Thank you PostNet for the assist!

Do not use this location to send via fedex - they will rip you off.On the afternoon of July 22, I was charged $83 for two day economy delivery of a letter to Texas - the reason given for the rate was “because gas prices are high.”Afterwards I called fedex to confirm the rate was was told it should not have been over $25When I returned to post net, one employee said “too late it’s already sent” and the other employer said “if you want to pay a cheaper rate for fedex, take your business elsewhere.”So take the advice of PostNet’s own employers - and take your business elsewhere!

Love this place. Didn’t know it existed until recently. Now I go there almost weekly for use of their notary services in my real estate business and to get FedEx envelopes to ship out my contracts. Their staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

2/3/22 I came into PostNet after being told it was fast and simple service. Never did I think I would be writing a review on bad customer service. I had two packages with the same tracking number going to the same place & the manager Young very aggressively told me I can’t leave it here and to take it next door for packing supplies to ship them together. Why would I go elsewhere when this fraudulent business has all the supplies I need. The employee Niky assisted me with my packages as much as she could even when the manager Young wouldn’t allow her to. He told me I had to buy tape and not use the tape sitting for all the other customers to use. While the manager watched her without helping she wrapped my rugs together with tape and put plastic wrapping over then so they could ship together. I didn’t mind paying any extra for packing service but I wasn’t even given that option. He was very rude, mean and yelling at her and I’m very shocked this is who this company has running this location. She tried to hold it together with tears in her eyes and all I could do was apologize on his behalf and continuously thank her for her help. ALL POSTNET MAY NOT BE LIKE THIS BUT I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION AT ALL IN ALDIE!!!!!!!! Zero stars !!!!!! I hope she quits. Next I’ll be reporting this manager.
