Location is good and prices are ok. But service is hit or miss. We get a lot of coupon from here. We take total of 9 cars to get service here and they still will not give us a break even if the coupon is a day old. Also, some are not that pleasant.

Replaced struts and damaged car. Very bad experience. After post they requested to contact them. Why couldn’t they address it when I went back several times until they acknowledged but didn’t repair the damage?

If you want to pay for things you don’t need then this is the place to go. I used Va tire & auto before and always thought it was expensive. This last visit takes the cake though. Had a tire with a slow leak. They claimed I needed to replace two tires and needed new brakes for a bill well over $1000. I was skeptical and took it somewhere else for a 2nd opinion. Brakes were fine, the tire just needed a patch, no issues with the other tires. This was blatant upselling for no other reason than to take advantage of a customer. I have other examples but I have taken enough space. Beware of using this establishment, they are careless at best but the word unscrupulous crosses my mind.

VT&A in Sterling is awesome because representatives are polite and helpful. Specially, I'd love to notice Marlon. I visited them to fix my rear left flat tire which done with no charge. To tell the truth I didn't expect that but that's true. You are all guys very professional! Keep it up!

I will start by mentioning this place can be a bit pricey, however the customer service is top notch. Dylan, in particular, who handled my last visit was great. I came in knowing I was getting new tires and he took the time to walk me through the process step by step. He did the research to find me the best tires for a tesla(which, as I've learned, are not the same as any non EV car) Ultimately, you could say he was just doing his job, but he handled it with such professionalism and kindness answering any questions and being very accommodating. Definitely will come back.

After diagnosing my son’s car, the lady who called recommended a bunch of other things. I turned them all down, I had breaks, rotors, break fluid, and a wheel hub done. She forgot to remove the other recommendations from the order, so $600 worth of work was done. When I checked out, I told Dylan that I said no to that stuff, he could see I had not authorized it, so they took all of it off my bill. No fuss, no argument, just great customer service. I have dealt with Dylan multiple times, and his attitude and demeanor are a credit to VA Tire!

I’ve been bringing my cars here for years and wont go anywhere else! They never try to upsell you on things you don’t need and are always super honest. The wait time usually isn’t too bad and everyone is friendly. Shoutout to Chris and Marta for being so awesome every time I’m in, yall deserve a raise. Schedule an appointment here, they’ll get you right!

They did a fantastic job. I arrived 30 minutes early to my appointment and they got me right in. I also love the FREE 1 way Lyft ride that helped me complete my other errands while my truck was getting worked on.

Came in today and attempted a state inspection but was turned away for not having sunshading on fancy DMV paper. I have sun shading authorized from the DMV and even furnished real time
Proof from the DMV website but they said that if it’s not on their fancy plastic type paper, then it could be fraudulent. This didn’t seem right so I called the VA state police inspection division and reviewed the inspection manual from the police and that “rule” was indeed not written or an actual rule. The police representative stated that they will reach out likely in person to the inspectors (lead inspector Mike)within the next few days so they can get corrective education on the sunshading matter.
Sunshading is an exemption resulting from disability. I was turned away today although I had proof from the DMV that mine was authorized. Inspectors need to know to not make up rules and assume people are out to defraud the exemption.i saw this incident as disability discrimination.
Another issue was that there was lack of management present. When asking to speak to a manager, they say they didn’t have one available today.

Wanted to give your company a quick shout out for the excellent service yesterday. I was in a real pinch and walked in VTA at 2:30 PM to inquire about getting an oil change. The rep Marlon, immediately got my car in and took care of everything in under 45 minutes. Thank you again for the wonderful service!

Giving 1 star only because 0 stars isn't an option. This garage is a rip-off. I have had work done on my car twice here in the past calendar year (tires changed and brakes replaced). Upon bringing my car in for a routine state inspection they refused to pass my car and claimed the things that weren't in compliance were the two things they fixed within the past 10 months. Either their work is extremely shotty and of poor quality, or they are purposely providing substandard work in order to get more money out of customers. Either way this garage should be avoided at all costs, save your time, money, and sanity, and go somewhere else!
