Victory Van is the world’s WORST company – avoid them at all costs. We stored our 5-bedroom house’s belongings with Victory for 11 years while we were overseas, latterly adding some items from my deceased parent’s home in 2015 and 2018. In all, they were paid over $150,000 on this “service”. On delivery, the crew badly mishandled several items, all captured photographically, and as we unpacked, a further disaster unfolded, also thoroughly photo documented. Stink bugs crawled out of everything, including our beds. The insurance we paid for was “Full Value Protection.” The claim documented 114 items either lost or damaged – including irreplaceable family heirlooms and very old English antiques. They even lost their file copy of our inventory. Further missing items came to light following the claim, and the Claims Attorney of Victory’s insurer, Vanliner, wrote that they could be included in the settlement, but in the end she refused to honor that. The value of our claim was $72,855, amended to $75,347 and 124 items. The mover’s truck also rutted our lawn and squashed the storm drain, which the driver tried to hide by kicking leaves over the damage, but was witnessed doing so. The photos below are but a small sample. At the end of 8 months of haggling and nit-picking by both Victory and Vanliner, we were forced to settle at $21,280. That is $54,046 less than the “full value” we had claimed and expected the insurance to cover – or 28 cents on the dollar. Vanliner and Victory claimed that self-destruction (“inherent vice” in their vocabulary, per the Vanliner Claims Attorney), not poor carrier handling, was the cause of much damage and disallowed or discounted many of those claimed items – notwithstanding photos showing clear mispacking and mishandling. They take the position that because we stored with them for such a long time, we must just expect that “accidents happen,” per the Victory Claims Administrator – like precious, irreplaceable furniture items disappearing into thin air. Accident? Victory refused to allow us to search the warehouse with them. So what is a “safe” amount of time to store with them? They do not say, but we say to anyone reading this: NONE. We have moved many times domestically and foreign, but never have we encountered negligence this gross. RUN from this company. And if you are storing with them, get out now!PS: It is now 3 weeks shy of a year since they delivered, and there are still items being repaired. And my father's model trains which have no board to run on having to be thrown away. Extremely sad.

Do not hire. We spent a fortune and received horrible service all the way around. Move/office coordinator was not competent, movers did not speak English, movers scratched floor by not lifting safe and their claims department won’t pay to fix damage, movers didn’t strap piano in truck properly so piano legs broke off, the saga continues….If you’re thinking of hiring them, run.

Unfortunately, I had the horrible luck of having Allied Moving who I contracted with use these guys as their local agent. They made my move a nightmare and couldn’t even get right what day we were supposed to get our cross country move. It was constantly digging through their lies and dealing with nonsense while everyone looks to cover their behinds. However while they play games your life is in disarray. Do not use this company and do not get stuck using them as I’m sure they work on the cheap. It shows. Awful.

Overall, my experience with Victory Van was good. They arrived on the scheduled day, the movers were very considerate of all my items and took great care in preparing them for a long distance move. My move coordinator Amy was also very helpful. The only negative part of my experience was the the delivery date extended past the final delivery day agreed upon on our contract. I finally received my items 3 days after the delivery window. Nothing was missing and all of my items were in good condition. Overall, due to the great care Victory took of my items, I would definitely use them again in the future.

My wife and I signed a contract for a "guaranteed" delivery window, but Victory Van missed the tail end of the window by over three weeks. We kept calling and emailing them to update us, but they didn't do so in a timely manner, usually updating us only after we inquired about what was going on. Some of our items were lost or arrived damaged. Be careful before using this vendor, and evaluate all of your options first.

I had a fantastic experience with Victory Van Corporation while moving from DC to Denver this year.During my initial consultation I talked with Paul. Paul FaceTimed me and we did a walk through of my apartment to gather a list of inventory. After that, he gave me a quote based off of my inventory which was the EXACT amount that I paid via cashier's check on receipt of my stuff in Denver. After chatting with Paul, I was contacted by Amy who was my moving coordinator. Amy was helpful in answering all of the pre-move questions that I had and checked in with me during the move and after the move to make sure that everything went smoothly.Lastly, I was contacted by Michelle who was my driver. Michelle was FANTASTIC. Michelle called me a few days before pick up to confirm we were all set with loading dock, parking, etc. Michelle showed up on time for both pick up and delivery and in both cases Michelle and her crew were extremely fast and got in and out of my apartment in less time than we had originally expected. For my next move, I am going to go out of my way to try to get Michelle as my driver again.

Victory Van was excellent from start to finish - working on the estimate, accommodating my timeframe, communication and the crews who performed the interstate move from DC area to FL it was the best process I could have asked for. The movers who packed up my stuff in DC were great, showed up early (8:45 AM) and finished around noon. The moving crew in FL were AMAZING. Best move-in process I have ever done and I’ve moved at least half a dozen times in the past few years. The guys were fun, friendly and did it all in less than 2 hours (1BR ->2BR)!! The crew was lead by Brian, Mac and Matt. They arrived at exactly 9 AM (the window I was given was 9-11 AM) my move was seamless. They unpacked every box, took the empty boxes and wrapping materials with them and asked if there was anything else they could do. I wish I had more furniture for them to assemble! These guys and the additional crew they brought all should be given a raise/promotion. Thank you and will absolutely use Victory Van again!Services: Moving-related packing

Delivered a month late, truck had a hold in the side so tons of boxes were damaged. I would not recommend Victory Van or Allied!

I can not warn you enough about using this company. They contract with Allied Van lines which is the same company and I think this is how they avoid accountability. They are SCAMMERS. I regret ever booking with them! They will tell you your items will be delivered in a "spread" but that they will certainly come earlier, and then show up three weeks later on a random day and time. They do not communicate to inform you of the status of your personal belongings, they do not answer phones, their customer service is basically non-existent. They will not respond to emails, calls, or the like. They are the actual worst company I have ever worked with. I do not recommend them. Buyer beware!!
