I've been coming here for a few years now for all of my oil changes and tire rotation needs. Every staff member I've ever interacted with has been super helpful, nice, generous, and honestly cool. I lowkey would be friends with them. I always enjoy the fun conversations and rapport we have when I'm in the shop. I really appreciate the effort they put into making sure I'm taken care of every time I come in. They've really gone above and beyond with some of the dumb problems other mechanics have caused my car! I wish I could remember all of the mechanics names so I could give them a shout out cause they're all awesome!

I was in about a week ago. The manager, Christina was OUTSTANDING AND FRIENDLY BEYOND WORDS! I asked if they also do brakes (which they do not), but she voluntarily looked at my brakes and I told me I should be good for at least a few more months.When she looked up my record in their computer, she saw my last name and started belly laughing. She said that she is a huge Harry Potter fan and loves my last name.Every person in the place was professional, quick, detail oriented and very friendly.They told me that I need a transmission flush but not for another 6 months or so.They checked my cabin air filter and said that it was ok.Cannot stress how awesome this place is and how outstanding their staff it! I will be a return customer for life!

Disappointing Experience at Valvoline Potomac Falls Branch ?I wanted to share my recent experience at Valvoline Potomac Falls Branch, and it's safe to say it wasn't great. I'm usually not one to complain, but this was too much to let slide.During what was supposed to be a routine oil change, the technicians seemed to forget about the whole 'care' part. They casually parked themselves on my leather seats with their oily clothes, creating a lasting impression that I definitely didn't want. And to add insult to injury, my car's carpet now has its own oil stain collection, all thanks to the lack of protective measures.But wait, there's more. The staff went full-on pushy mode, trying to sell me everything from air filters to engine washes. I get it – upselling is part of the game, but this was a bit much.Long story short, my visit to Valvoline Potomac Falls Branch was a total letdown – from the careless treatment of my car to the unwarranted sales pressure. I won't be going back anytime soon.If you're on the lookout for a reliable and customer-friendly oil change service, I'd suggest exploring other options. This place left a lot to be desired.

I'm deeply frustrated by my recent experience with Valvoline Instant Oil Change. As a loyal customer of theirs for several years, the disappointment I felt during this incident led me to the difficult decision of not returning with any of my five vehicles. When I entrusted them to service my vehicle, things took a turn for the worse as they ended up causing a significant issue by breaking my radiator. Even though Valvoline did eventually accept responsibility for this by replacing the radiator, what left me shocked was their denial of my claim for reimbursement regarding the rental car and Uber expenses that were essential for my trip. What's even more frustrating is that Valvoline was aware of my plans for the trip and the need for a rental car, given that my SUV had become inoperable. I ended up being over three hours late for my trip due to their mishap. To make matters worse, they not only denied my claims but also insinuated that I had caused the radiator issue, which is not only infuriating but also demonstrates a complete lack of accountability on their part. This entire experience has exposed serious flaws in their customer service and accountability, severely eroding the trust I once had in their service. THeir area manager will not even call me back after I asked their corporate claims department to have this person explan the logic. I consider myself fortunate that I detected the radiator issue before setting out on my trip, as Valvoline's handling of the situation would have become even more problematic had I not caught the problem in time and been stuck overhearting or even worse damaged the engine. They made the business decision to not reimbursement $230 yet having received thousands of dollars from me in service since the store openend since it became a Valvoline. My service the day of this incident was more than $230.

The entire time I was there, the attendant was constantly trying to upsell me on other services. Then they forget to put the cap back on my windshield washer reservoir, I go back and ask about it. They look at me as if I am crazy, shrugging their shoulders. Will not go back. Went next door to Autozone, spent an additional $11.65 for a new cap.

I literally just drove down the road to the spot I used to go to A1 customer service everybody in the shop was respectful I just had a bad experience at the Ashburn location these guys in Sterling grade a customer service very friendly very knowledgeable they remembered my face from 5 years ago I will definitely be coming back here again no more Ashburn Ashburn location is very rude and disrespectful Sterling location treat people with respect thank you..

Friendliest team we've ever met! You might see the guy with the sign on 7 waving and pointing.Quick, inexpensive, and again, REALLY FRIENDLY and bright staff. Top notch. Get your oil changed :)

Dropped in for a transmission fluid change. Nathan was incredible, explaining the process, pricing, etc. Helped with other issues I was having too. Can’t recommend this place enough. Thanks Nathan.

If I could give them less, then one star I would . Stay away from this shop. They will try to take your money . Every time I visit them I have a bad experience. Not coming back, even I will let all my family and friends in the area stay away from them .
