Mike was great. Despite handling everything on his own & juggling multiple tasks, he remained patient & delivered top notch customer service. He also seemed very knowledgeable, which made the whole experience smooth!

I am new to the area. The website said notary available from 8.30am. I got there at 8.30. The gentleman seemed to be rushing. I asked to have my document notarized and he said you have to come back at 9, I am trying to get the store ready. If you are scheduled to open at 8.30 then get there earlier and have better customer service. If notary is not available until 9, then you need to change the hours on your website. I will never go back to this location. Bad customer service.

I experienced the same problem as others
I initiated a return for an online purchase and paid the dollar for the
QR code so that UPS store would box and label.
I printed the QR code but UPS Store refused to accept the package because it was in a a retail box and not a shipping carton. Per Am---n the UPS store should package and label the item then ship back to seller. There were 4 people standing around and one even went to retrieve a ring of approved cardboard samples, but nobody would take the package

Always quick, problems free drop off location. I have my packages labeled up 99% of the time so I’m in an out unlike at Fed ex. I wish UPS would be able to beat fed ex pricing, definitely would use ups over fed ex but sadly fed ex almost always cheaper. Shipping hundreds of packages weekly just not enough cost effective. But beside the difference ( it’s very small by the way but x100 it’s significant in business) in pricing, ups definitely better in this area than fed ex. I think. But see for yourself?

Never had any issues at this location and recently have done multiple services at this specific location (mailing things, buying a mailer, notarized forms).

I am surprised that all the low star reviews people give are about the high prices or their problems with packaging not being correctly packed for returning their items. The staff here are consistent with their quality. I have returned and shipped many things here without an issue or service being refused. There is Walmart for cheaper packing material and USPS for more affordable shipping options.

Absolutely terrible service. I went in today and was refused service. From the condescending attitude of an employee all the way to the store owner. They refused me a shipment that other UPS stores accept! And they were actually surprised that this store turned me away in a hostile manner. I took my package to the other Sterling location and it took less than 10 seconds to finish the interaction. This is a very ghetto location.
I have submitted a complaint and I really hope the area manager investigates.
Update: I sent my package at another location in Sterling UPS and everything went smoothly

The staff here is always helpful and professional. Time and Time Again they’ve gone out of their way to help me with a box, or stay a few minutes late to finish up transaction. They’re great.

Great staff but cost is crazy. Very over priced. Highly recommend 3rd party label companies like Pirate Shipping, where you can pre-print your labels at home. UPS marks up everything significantly when you do it directly through the store. Even selling 66 cent USPS forever stamps for 82+ cents each. International letters that would cost $1.50 to send through USPS are up-charged by more than double at $3.33. I'll be honest while I'd rather deal with the friendly, helpful staff at UPS I wish it didn't come at such an added cost. Beats the USPS experience at least and at the end of the day, it's only a few dollars for small things but it gets painful when doing anything in bulk.
