Great experience with the team at Stohlman Sub in Sterling. You cannot go wrong with a Subaru, but not all dealerships are the same. This is one you’ll return to for additional purchases. Low pressure, they work hard to speed the process, and the staff there is always attentive.

Mark Doyle is an exceptional person.
He is working as a coordinator between Buyer and a management instead of a sales person. I am very pleased with getting service at same dealship since last few years while visiting VA and a smooth online purchase from out of state. Both Mark and dealer are honest and straight forward for sales and service.

I want to share my fantastic experience with Stohlman Subaru in Northern Virginia. The sales staff really took the time to understand my needs and helped me choose the perfect car. They also explained all the new tech features, which have exceeded my expectations. I travel a lot for work and to visit family, so having a car with great safety features and reliable handling in all weather conditions is important to me. Subaru has been fantastic in meeting all my requirements!
In addition, the maintenance experience has been top-notch. I received a notification from my vehicle for servicing, and booking an appointment through the app was quick and easy. On the day of servicing, a Stohlman team member greeted me at check-in and provided a comfortable waiting area. My car came out of servicing in perfect condition, and I couldn't be happier. Thank you, Stohlman Subaru, for your excellent service!

I interacted with 10 different dealers in multiple states (PA, OH, KY, IN, IL, etc.) but Ali at Stohlman Subaru was determining factor. He’s professionalism, willingness to negotiate, straightforwardness and not lying was greatly appreciated! He wasn’t just trying to make sale, his goal was to assist me in getting the vehicle I wanted.

I am very disappointed with the service. The service representative advised me to replace my wipers, and I agreed. After the replacement, the front wipers started pulling the rubber out of the supporting frame, and the back wiper began making noise every time I used it, which was not an issue before the replacement. The team did not bother to acknowledge or address the concern in a right way.
When I returned to the dealership to fix the problem, they failed to address it on two separate occasions and told me I would have to pay $395 after waiting for two hours. After requesting a review of the warranty as it was replaced 2 months back, they confirmed it was covered for an year but said I would need to come back another day to process the warranty and receive an update from the company. This experience has wasted my time and caused additional trouble.

Today’s service average. I asked them to fix a piece of plastic that kept popping off at the base of my seat . I told him I would leave it in the cup holder . When all was said and done that piece was still there and there was no mention about it. I had to bring it up. Also, why do you put cars sometimes? thought it was a service all the time. I asked him if we had to ask for the wash and do I have to pay for it? And he said no, it’s complimentary . He offered to do it but I zero time at that point .
