from my appointment, May 24, 2024: Dr. Fletcher is excellent, very smart and her talents and skills in medicine are probably overlooked by most of her patients. And I will definitely be using her bargain priced IV clinic!

I have been going to Sterling Family practice for 3 months (since shortly after she was born). We love Stefanie Jennings so much! We were looking for a care provider who would help educate us to help us make the best decisions for our child instead of someone who told us what to do in the hopes we would blindly follow. She’s low key, kind, and listens. The former pediatrician I saw made me doubt my abilities to care for my child and left me feeling scared and ill equipped. None of those things describe Stefanie. I’m very grateful we found this practice! Also, the office is clean and nice if that’s important to you!

I’ll start by saying that I’m a huge fan of functional wellness and both my son and I go here. Not only are the nurses and practitioners responsive, but it’s one of the few clinics I’ve been to where they don’t slap a bandaid on the symptom but rather do their best to heal you from the inside out by finding the root cause. If you’ve been given the run-around by typical doctors, try Sterling. I’m so glad I found them!

5 starts doesn’t even cut it. 100/10. Stefanie Jennings is more than worth the wait (I waited about a year) and worth the distance (about an hour to get there). Make your appointment now, you won’t regret it!!
Also, if you’re looking for a provider who has the patience of a saint and can perform your pap, and breast exam with your toddler on you, then you’ve found the right one :)

This practice has been the biggest blessing to our family. Yes it may take some time to get an appointment but there’s obviously a reason for that and it is 1000% worth it. My son has been there 2 times and each time he goes they take such good care and I get every single answer i am looking for and more. Never have I felt at home at a doctors office. Make the appointment, it is worth the wait.

Called in to set up as a new patient. I was offered an appointment for March 2025... A whole year to schedule an appointment? Are you actually serious? This place isn't good, the front desk staff is extremely rude. The owner is delusional.

Went here for about 5-8 years. Dr. Zapp was incredible, after she left there were only average physicians that remained, but poor customer service at the front desk.

I was nervous at first because it took me 6 months to make my initial appointment, and I was only able to do so after my insurance changed (they do not accept Aetna for new patients, and no longer accept United health care). Little did I understand how grateful I would be for this office until I caught COVID-19 for the first time. Stefanie Jennings (FNP-C) has been a lynchpin in my care, and I put my full trust in her recommendations. When my symptoms veered into Long COVID and POTS territory, I came loaded with diaries of my heart rates and dozens of articles and research. She was familiar with every new piece of research I brought, and crafted a unique treatment plan for me that helped transform my wellness. Are the wait times long? Sometimes. Is it hard to get an appointment? Occasionally. Do I recommend this practice and this doctor? Absolutely yes and to everyone I know. Every doctor I have spoken to in this practice (I've met them all) actually listens, asks deeply inquisitive questions, and 100% goes the extra mile to ensure the best possible care. Given their functional medicine orientation they excel at treating complex conditions like fibromyalgia, dysautonomia, SIBO, POTS, long covid, and countless others. They are one of the only functional medicine practices in the greater DMV to accept insurance. The affordability and accessibility of their care (they offer virtual visits too!) cannot be more emphasized. Because they take insurance, unlike most functional medicine practices, you may need to schedule appointments with greater frequency because they limit the number of issues to tackle per appointment to 3 (about 20-30 minutes). However they keep this model for OUR benefit. It makes the practice affordable because it allows their appointments to align to health insurance expectations, and they are still highly consultative in the process. Thank you for providing such thoughtful, accessible, and affordable care in Northern Virginia. I have deep gratitude that this practice exists. It has changed my life - don't hesitate to book here!

I called to schedule an appointment with Dr. Sarah, but I was told they are not accepting any insurance if I want to see her. So they expect you to pay $400 from your pocket upfront first. On top of that, I was mentioned there is an extra $150 fee for the questionnaire they ask me, which obviously I have to answer for any doctor visit. Total RIPOFF, and ILLEGAL Practice!!

Praise the Lord for quality pediatric care! Particularly providers that hand you the contact info for an oral myofascial therapist instead of an eye roll and dismissal of concern when you bring up mouth breathing and oral dysfunction. Providers that know their stuff and want to truly help you and your child! Feeling so grateful for the unicorn office that is Sterling Family Practice - in particular Stefanie Jennings!
