Contaminated gas destroyed the fuel injectors in my Honda. They've had issues in the past with their pumps failing state audits. Also their pumps look like someone tried to break into them.

I have been going to this shell since my AC stopped working last summer. Each time, Mr. Long just adds freon that will keep leaking until there is only very hot air coming out at the heart of summer. Dishonest service. The worst feeling is that when I go there, he does not let me talk and keeps charging me money, $1500 so far and the AC issue has never been fixed.

I just wanted to say how great the customer service is at this station based on a recent difficult situation getting my 2004 Volvo XC 90 T6 to pass the VA Emissions Inspection after I just bought it used. Because the battery had been replaced, the onboard computer had reset. So, the oxygen and catalyst sensors were not reading as ready, and the car was rejected (not failed) multiple times. It turned out that for these old Volvos, you have to take the car through a particular driving sequence to wake up the sensors (just Google it, it's complicated). Once I did that, the car passed! The customer service as I went through this experience was awesome. The inspector just continued to patiently work with me until we found a solution to the problem. Thank you!

The store employee opens the door and helps the guy out.(wasn’t same color as me) RACIST store owner. stop here if you want bad service.

DO NOT COME HERE FOR INSPECTIONS. Bought an inspection on Groupon for here (I guess that was a red flag missed). Showed up during normal business hours, they were closed. Came back another day, there was a line, I got in it and waited for 30 min. Guy comes out and says "in 10 minutes I'm going to lunch, I'll be back at 1pm." I think everybody is entitled to lunch, I feel bad that he's the only one working and they should have coverage for him. So, annoying, and bad customer service, but not this guy's fault. So I said "I'll be back at 1, I'm after the white car" (the only car in front of me). Here comes the 1-star - guy says "Nope, you leave you lose your spot." Sorry. Unacceptable. You take lunch, fine. Give me a slip of paper that says I was here. But I'm not going to the back of the line or have to sit there for 1:40 min while you take your lunch. Sorry buddy, sorry business. DO NOT COME HERE, NO CONSIDERATION FOR YOUR TIME OR MONEY.

LONG HISTORY BUT THIS GUY IS A HONEST MECHANIC After I was so tired about not find out the reason of the check engine light was on. I ended up here but before I went to the Acura dealership to perform a diagnosis to find out why the light was on. they said all, the coils were fine, spark plugs, but that I needed to replace an inyector. I paid for the diagnosis then I paid for the replacement of the injector. I also mentioned that maybe a injectors cleaning could be better. They said no! So ok I did the job and next day light was on. I went back and they said it needed a valve adjustment... it was so clear to me that they were just ripping me off! I know that it is not easy to diagnose correctly a check engine light, since it can be so many things. Also they said, I could wait to see if, the light will come off or to do a injector cleaning despite that I suggested it, since the beginning.I decided to wait and just by curiosity I stop by, this Shell, I had been putting V-Power to my car since I noticed the car wasn't making a noise it was doing. the Mecanic Long came out, his personality is not the most sweet or nice but he wasn't rude at all with me so be aware that is the way he is. I asked him to check my car and told him that the check engine light was on... he said well have you check, the coils, spark plugs and injectors? Yes I did all good. Then I said do you thing it could be a valve adjustment? The autozone scan report suggest that... he said no!! No!! Your car doesn't need that! Forget about that paper. The Dealership was going to charge $600.00 just for adjusting the front valves. I save that money! Then!!Then he went back to his chair and said to me... I like to be honest with people and not take their money... go to the autozone get some inyector cleaner and full your gas tank with the right gas. Stop using cheap gas, car is old but you need to use the right gas for that car. I don't care if is more expensive. You save a few dollars for cheap gas, but spend more fixing it... I like to sleep well and be honest with people. I laughed inside me since I was guilty of doing that.... I spend $400 at the dealership $100 for the diagnosis and $300 for the injector replacement. It was going to be more but I always find ways to get a better price negotiating with them. I asked Long if, I own him something he said no! Just let me know if it goes off. Good luck.Guest what!! He was right and I spend $8.00 he got my business after that. I went back with oil break, steering wheel oil and transmission oil and asked him to replace it. He said my transmission oil wasn't that bad but I asked to replace it anyway. I just paid labor. I save a good money doing these oil services this way. Brake and steering wheel were really bad. Again he was honest. And then he said to stop by because he wanted to check the transmission oil level again. And also I passed inspection that day. Last week, I hear a noice in my car. I knew brakes need an inspections. I had with me break pads and rotors. But I just showed up and said hey! My. Car is making a noise in the back wheels... he checked and said you need, rotors, break pads and a caliper but the caliper just the rear right. I opened my trunk and said ok. I have it all except the caliper. And he laughed!! Front breaks where fine! I just went to the NAPa store near by and got the caliper... MECHANIC RESPECT PEOPLE THAT HAVE AT LEAST A SMALL CLUE ABOUT BASIC THINGS FOR CARS... I like to watch YouTube videos about regular basic maintenance for cars. Do yourself a favor and save also money! Our cars are one of our biggest investment and I hope mine car hit the 300,000 miles since is running strong and I am doing my best to take care of it! And with the help of a honest mechanic I know I will do.Sorry if others have had a bad experience but at lear I am so happy I stoped by a few months ago. I trust this guy and I hope I can keep doing business with him.
