I had five gift packages to pull together and send out. I planned on doing this at home and then deliver them ready to go to the postal store. For this, I needed to pick up labels and their sleeves.
I went in today and saw no sign of any labels, plastic sleeves, envelopes, or boxes that are always supplied gratis by the carriers. (However, there is a great deal of shipping items for which you can pay on display!)
The young man behind the counter advised they will not give the customer a label to complete unless they have the package with them. This is the ONLY postal place I have ever been to in Loudoun County which treats customers as if they cannot be trusted. Exactly WHAT do you think I would do with your precious supplies? Trash them? Use them for nefarious purposes? I simply wanted to complete the labels at home to make certain I had access to all the address and telephone information I might need. Also, I find it extremely difficult to complete reams of paperwork standing at a counter.
The store recently moved to a smaller space (Maybe that is the reason for not offering customer supplies? No room?). You have to navigate traffic in the Giant parking lot and cross the street while balancing packages. Not worth it.
I left and went to the next nearest postal store, picked up all the labels I needed, and had everything packed up and dropped off (three domestic and two international boxes) at the far more CONVENIENT store before the day was out.
These people have lost my personal business and certainly (despite the fact I have carrier preprinted labels for our company use) I would never consider this store for our business shipping.
One star for the clerk who seemed genuinely apologetic.

I would not recommend this business. I called and asked how much it cost to fax something. David said the first page was $2.75 and every additional page was $.75. A while later I was quoted $2.75 the first page and $1.75 every additional page. I mentioned this discrepancy while being rung up by an employee without a name tag. He neither confirmed nor denied but he charged me $4???

Not only are they remarkably efficient with handling packages, but they also provide a range of additional services, including notary services and PO boxes. I ran into PP for a notary and to overnight paperwork. The location has plenty of parking and the store was clean. Grant notarized and got my paperwork ready to be shipped in 5 minutes flat. No wait. Quick and easy! Plus, Grant was welcoming and friendly.

This is my go to for all shipping. Parcel Plus is always available and clear on how things work for shipping needs. I had an urgent need this week and David provided professional, helpful information over the phone to ensure I knew times of FedEx pickup and that a notary was onsite until 6:30pm. Upon arrival, Grant and David helped get everything done efficiently and promptly. Thanks guys!
