This is my second visit to Mr. Tire in Sterling. The first visit was not a great experience, but I figured I give them a second shot. I had an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation at 8am and it was clear that the i was waiting for the car. When I arrived I was told the technician doesn't show up until 10:30. Now I'm stuck needing an oil change before taking a big trip.

Good company, pathetic management.I called on a Friday and asked to make an appointment for Wednesday, and was told I dont need one, I can simply walk in. When I walk in on Wednesday, I am told they cannot take me in, and I need to come in later. I drove 20 mins and back because of their bad management.I go in another day, they take me in, do the work - good work, no unnecessary work and gave good suggestions, and rotated tires. I drive out, in 2 mins, my TPMS warning comes on. I take it back to back to them, and the front desk person says I have two people ahead of me and it will take another hour and half to take me in again. It doesnt matter that I was just in. It doesnt matter that post rotation the mechanic should have driven vehicle, adjusted / set tire pressure and reviewed before giving it to me. They will take another 1.5 hours to take me back in. They will not even look at it before that. I got fed up with their stupidity, went to a local gas station, adjusted tire pressures and was good to go.Silly mistake by mechanic, but horrible management. Not going again.

I bought tires that were shipped here. The price to install was less than expected ($94.70). But when I got my truck back the TPMS sensor has been broken. They want me to pay $150 to fix it, which I won't do because it was not broken when I brought it in. When I left the first time, they also claim that I needed new brakes and rotors which they would happily change for $500 per axle. This feels like fraud and is very untrustworthy. On top of this, I made an appointment and had to wait for almost 4 hours to get the tires changed.

I had an issue with the tyre. Mr Tyre took me in immediately and fixed my tire. I was able to go back on the road safely. Excellent service and free inspection report.

I had a positive experience at this service center. Scott at the front desk was knowledgeable, trust worthy, and helpful. The service charges were reasonable. I had 4 tires replaced, balanced, and 4 wheel alignment done in about 1.5 hours while I waited in the lobby.

Yesterday when I got home I noticed my left rear tire was flat. I thank God that I made it home without incident. I’m newly separated and I wasn’t sure where to go to get it fixed. To make a long story short I was told to go to Mr Tire Dulles Service Center. I am so happy I did, instead of me buying a new tire they were able to repair my old tire for a fraction of the cost for a new one. Also, they provide routine maintenance and general car care services. I will continue to use them for other services.?

Came in for a tire patch repair at 8 am. I was told the tire guy wasn't in yet and I had to wait until 1. I come back and get told I need to wait for maybe 3 hours. I keep getting told they make appointments but the guy doesn't give me one, he tells me I just need to show up and wait in line. So what is the point of appointments?

Came here because of a friend referral. Wouldn't come back after the below issues.Services (1/5): I just got new brake pads and rotors, brake fluid flush, and engine coolant flush on 06/21/2023 at 94,597 miles at the Sterling, VA Mr. Tire location. I then took my car to another shop to get an alignment after getting new Tires at Costco, and they checked the brake pads and brake fluid as part of their normal routine and said that the brake fluid needs to be flushed since it's dark. I'm concerned that the brake flush wasn't done or wasn't done properly at Mr. Tire since the brake fluid should have still been clear after 500 miles. The shop also said that my front pads are at 7/32" and the back are at 9/32". They said that they shouldn't be that low after 500 miles of driving since they're supposed to be new & OEM parts start at 10/32". There's no way that 500 miles took 3/32" off both the front brake pads.I tried reaching out to Monro, but their Contact Us form is broken.I tried calling the shop, but they said that the services were rendered... when another shop is saying it wasn't and there's evidence that the brake flush wasn't performed or performed well. (See pic for reference after 500 miles).2/3 services with issues after, I cannot recommend this place. The main lobby guy there seems very stressed and overworked, but he's extremely nice.

My tire valve was loose and leaking. They tightened it back up, took off the spare tire, put it safely back in my trunk, and put the fixed up wheel back onto my car for no cost! All the while providing great customer service. Will probably go back here when I need new tires.

I took my car to the Dulles Town Crossing location to have two tires mounted and balanced that I bought from Tire Rack after getting a flat. First, Mr. tire told me that they only install tires from Tire Rack on Wednesdays- not convenient when you need your car for work or hauling your children to events. After waiting for Wednesday to come and dropping off my car, I had to not only explain what tire was flat and where I wanted them mounted, but I had to then write it down at the request of the guy who was managing the front as he didn't take his own notes. I returned to pick up the car that afternoon. Over the next two days I was out of town and drove 300+ miles on the highway, where I experienced horrible wheel shake due to poorly balanced tires at anything over 50mph. I called the shop and brought it back in the following Wednesday. I was told that they would only attempt to rebalance a second time. After picking it up that afternoon the car felt as if they hadn't touched it- same horrible shake. At this point I was furious. I called Tire Rack and told them about my experience. They recommended that I take my car to Great Falls Exxon to see if they could rebalance them successfully, as they had great customer feedback. Needless to say, the car now is as smooth as glass- no thanks to Mr Tire. The guy who balanced my tires at Great Falls Exxon showed me how far off they were- even he was surprised that they were off by ounces!!! That may not seem like much to a lay person, but you'd notice immediately. If you need tires mounted and want it done right- look elsewhere.

Rating of the Leesburg, VA location. I will never go back to Mr. Tire. I recently had several issues. Firstly, I was lied to. When Mr. Tire replaced my front struts, I was told that the quality of the parts would exceed Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) specifications. After the installation I complained of noises when steering and brought back for inspection and I was told that everything was 100% fine and safe. The noises got worse and several weeks later I went back. The mechanic mouthed off to me saying he wasn't going to inspect it again a second time. I insisted and another mechanic there checked it and saw that it was cracked and so Mr. Tire replaced the defective part. When I picked the car back up it was still making noises and not steering well. I therefore brought the car to the Toyota dealer and they confirmed that the installation was incorrect (it wasn't properly torqued) so they had to fix it so that the car would steer properly. Toyota also confirmed that I was lied to and that the struts are a lower quality than OEM. They are cheap quick struts and they will always have a springy noise when going over small bumps unlike an OEM or better replacement. That's just something I now have to live with now unfortunately. Secondly, regarding the breaks. After Mr. Tire worked on the breaks. I brought the car back 2 times to have Mr. Tire look at them again because the car wasn't breaking properly. Our car even slid into an intersection at a red light a couple times. The mechanic checked them and promised both times that the breaks were 100% fine/safe. However, the Toyota dealer showed me that one of the calipers was ceased open making one of the four wheels not break. Both the above steering and break issues were serious safety issues and not only did Mr. Tire lie to me, but they were also completely negligent and it could have resulted in serious injury or death. Therefore, I'll never go back.

Just had some tires, purchased from tire rack, installed on my Tesla here, I was very impressed with the quality, price and speed of their work. I would definitely consider this shop for any additional automotive work.

Appointment time doesn't make sense.I scheduled my appointment time for waiting - not drop off.But I had to wait for simple service (oil changed, flat tire and tire rotation) about 3 hours, because they had a lot of cars before, so appointment service doesn't make sense.
