Didn’t have what I was looking for but employee named Chris was very helpful & took his time to explain to me about air filter ratings & etc. He even checked if nearby stores have what I was looking for.

Today I was at this store at Sterling VA. I was having problem finding my items. After 10 minutes, I started to look for any lowes employee. This branch has very knowledgeable ,helpful and very friendly staff. I came across to a Latina Lady named Reina. I requested her to help me. She was very knowledgeable, kind and very friendly. Within minutes I got what I needed. Thanks Reina for your kind help. God bless you and your family. By the way I am not Latino. I am from Pakistan and I never met this Lady in my life before. The only reason I am waiting this review is because if someone help you, you should appreciate it and thanked them. That's American way and that makes American great. God bless you all and your family.

I’ve had the worst customer service experience at the Sterling Lowe’s. As a small business owner, I'm a regular customer who spends a good amount there. Usually, I don’t have any issues, but this store is a complete disaster. The staff clearly doesn't know how to deal with business customers, especially when doing phone sales. It's incredibly frustrating. They seem to struggle with basic communication, like writing my information down properly, even when I had dictate it to them. I’m so fed up that I’d rather pay more to shop elsewhere.

Lowe's has it all. I love this place, nice, clean, and organized.
The staff is usually friendly, and the checkout is quick.

Wow. Quite possibly the worst shopping experience I've ever had.
We were in Friday in the morning. We needed keys cut, but wanted ones other than what was available in the self-service machine.
The first person we asked for help turned around and walked away.
The second person we asked laughed at us.
I ended up walking all the way across the store to have customer service call someone. I highly doubt we will ever return to this store again. We will drive further and go literally anywhere else for our home needs.

Customer service manager refused to price match and seemed think his Lowe’s is a franchise. We offered to show him where on the Lowe’s website it disused price matching and he said it didn’t apply to his store. Hmmm ok…..Please train your employees to be more kind and to understand your websites price matching policies. This man raised his voice and stormed off when we questioned him. The younger employees working were kind and agreed this manager was unreasonable.

Lowes don't hire/have people for assistance.
You have to find them and sometimes they are not willing to help.

Every employee was so friendly and helpful and such a difference from a Home Depot! I drove out of my way to avoid going HD it’s that miserable and I always have a nice experience at Lowes!

I lost more tha 30 minutes trying to buy paint because the scanner was not working properly, after 30 minutes waiting, I go to Home depot.

Catty, snippy attitude from Gloria while trying to place a $12k window order. I raised a few questions about her putting in new construction window instead of replacement windows and got non-answers and ultimately, a glare from her as if to say "stop questioning me!". We'll be ordering from Home Depot instead.

Clean, good customer service. Most many be a little dirty, but I like it here. Wood looks good. It's heavy traffic getting into the lot tho. Good parking space. Next to other big stores. I think Walmart and Sam's around the corner from here.
