When my '73 Corvette's engine went kaput (rod and piston damage, etc.), Hardcore Hot Rods rebuilt the engine and saved the car. Now it runs smoother than it ever did. Many thanks to Al and all the other hardworking folks at Hardcore Hot Rods.

Great bodywork! Have a 2018 Ford Transit 350 Van that had a crack in the rear quarter panel. Al was great and did a great consult, cautioning that oftentimes a crack like this suggests Bondo underneath and paint will usually bend, rather than crack in this nature. great repair. Good as new. Thanks, guys!

Alfredo and his team have serviced our Jeep Wranglers for years. When my kids started driving, the body work needs unfortunately increased as well. Hardcore not only helped restore our Jeeps to mint condition, but they involved the boys in the process by showing them how the "fixes" were done. A little personal attention and education while providing superb care and getting us back on the road as if nothing happened. Alfredo and his team also go the extra mile for our veteran and active-duty military families. Others make this claim, but few follow through like Hardcore does.

I brought them my 78 Jeep Wagoneer this summer and I am thrilled with the work that was done. The team there gave me a tour of the facility which was nice. They definitely have the tools to work on the classics. The guys pulled my engine apart and put it back together better than new! My Waggy now runs, stops, does not stall and can cruse down the highway without flying apart. The stance is correct, the gauges work, the note is perfect! They even managed to fix a few other items that were bugging me under the hood as well as behind the dash. I would recommend the hardcore guys for all of your classic car repairs.

Another great job from Al and his team at Hardcore Hot Rods, my BMW needed some work in the rear panel and on the front hood. Al and his team really made it beautiful and had it back to me faster than expected. I've had several vehicles repaired here and highly recommend them for all your car needs!

I have taken my car to Hardcore a couple of times. There are a few aspects of their business: custom motorcycles, restoring custom cars, and I have had some body work done a few times. Each time, my car has come back perfect and in a timely fashion. The price was fair too. Will definitely use them again.

Staff was great to work with, very clear in communication and most importantly transparent. I have a 1978 Jeep CJ7 where I have done quite a bit of work and I have referred Hardcore many times. Hardcore has fixed brakes, repaired leaks in the oil pan, crankshaft, and both differentials.

I came across Hardcore after using two other shops in the local area. I wish that I would have worked with Hardcore from the very beginning. All that I can say that they are extremely knowledgeable, super professional and were more than fair on the repairs on my 1978 Bronco. Very happy and them some. Highly recommended.

I brought my 79 Triumph Spitfire to Hardcore Hot Rods from my deceased parents’ farm in Illinois. I made a wise decision. I am extremely happy with the work performed on my vehicle which was both intricately detailed and time intensive. The car had been sitting in my father’s garage for many years. Al and his team made my Triumph run the way that it did when I was 16 years old. Al and Jim, Al’s manager, went out of their way to explain every step of the process. They went over and above to ensure they did exactly what they promised. They even made a special point of ensuring stickers that carried personal sentiment remained on the vehicle. They went out of their way to add those special touches, including a brand new carburetor from Germany. The Spitfire had a completely restored underside as well. Throughout the restoration process, all of my questions were patiently and thoughtfully answered. I could not have asked for greater service. I feel that Al and his team engaged in honesty at all times. They treated me with respect throughout the entire process. I highly recommend Al and his restoration team at Hardcore Hot Rods. They go over and above to ensure that their work is perfectly accomplished. They truly care about their customers at all levels. Thanks Hardcore Hot Rods!

During the pandemic car shortage, we purchased a 2005 Toyota 4Runner. Less than a year later, it failed safety inspection due to several significant issues: rotten rusty frame, exhaust system leaks, a failed engine mount, and brakes. To our dismay, we could not find anyone to address the rusty rotten frame. When we found Hardcore Hot Rods, and sister business Speedway Garage, they were willing to tackle it. First, they went over the rest of the 4Runner to make sure the engine and drivetrain was sound. They explained how they would remove all the rust, reinforce any weakened sections of frame, and apply a rust inhibitor - with a lifetime warranty on the frame. We could not afford the frame repair with all the other Safety items, if in the course of the work, anything else was discovered. Al and Jim were sympathetic and agreed to a fixed price, after going over the entire vehicle a second time. It took about 3, maybe 4, weeks. When we picked up the truck, we put it on the lift and showed us all the work. To my eye, it was well done. They also replaced some rusted fuel line, fuel pump, brackets, that they found during the work. I was nervous, so instead of going to the same inspector that they use, I went to the one that failed us. He approved of the work and said the workmanship was good. I am so thankful to have found Hardcore Hot Rods and whole heartedly recommend them. When I looked at some of the work going on in their garage, I see they take on very challenging jobs. I understand these may not always come out perfectly, but in my case it did. Al and Jim, Thank You!

Just wanted to thank the guys for getting my 305 K5 blazer back in shape, the engine hadn’t been worked on for a while and they didn’t precisely make a lot of power to start with. It’s now completely reliable and much snappier. I’ll bring it back to get the seats done this summer.

I have a '65 Mustang that was purchased by my father in 1965 and has always been in our family. My son and I took it to Al and Hardcore Hot Rods to do a restomod as a he vehicle still drove like it was from 1965. They bore out the 289 engine and increased the horsepower from 180 to around 425. That required an upgrade to power steering, fuel injection, brakes, transmission, rear frame modification and wheels. I also had them touch up the paint. I got it back two weeks ago and we couldn't be happier. The car still looks like a classic '65 beauty but now drives like a modern 2022. In fact, it's more like a modern race car than anything else. Al and his team are consummate professionals and I couldn't be happier with the work they did. I'm taking it back in the next few months to get the interior restored. Worth every penny.

Cannot say enough good things about Al & his guys over at Hardcore. I have a 1969 Volvo p1800S that was in bad shape. What was originally meant to be a pandemic project quickly exceeded my own capabilities and Al gladly took over. Fabrication, welding, paint, glass, electrical, tuning, upholstery - the works. Restoring an old vehicle is never a cheap undertaking, but Al was more than fair and accommodating, charging well below what he rightfully could have. I have been taking my car here for a few years and whenever I take my Camaro there with whatever issue it has. They had no problem finding the issue or issues with it. Also they were very open with showing me the issue and being completely honest with an estimate and a reasonable time frame it would get done. Definitely will be continuing to come here for the years to come.

Hardcore Hot Rod worked on my 57 Tbird. Did a full diagnostic and identified the fixes that were required. Completed the work timely and on budget!! Also fixed up the paint and some dings. Car looks amazing!!! And drives like a dream. Very impressed with Al and Jim and their team at Hardcore Hotrod!!!
