Walked in for the first time after seeing the reviews here to see if I could have a consultation with one of the colorists because they are showing some impressive hair color transformations on their website. Not what I expected. First of all there was nobody at the reception desk. I looked around the mostly empty cavernous space and I saw only 2 stylists and neither of them acknowledged me. Eventually a man came out from the back, apparently a hairstylist, but he was totally unable to handle or interact properly with a prospective client. I showed him one of the photos on their own website and asked him who could that kind of color work and he was completely clueless; he said he didn’t know they have a website and then he shouted across the room asking if anyone has seen these photos. A young stylist approached to see what he was talking about and she seemed clueless too. They were both either unable or unwilling to handle a new client just inquiring and trying to make an appt; could not even authenticate the photos on the website or who had done that color job, or at least suggest one of the stylists. At this point I don’t even believe some of the other reviews for this place. This was just the pits.

I have been going to Hair Harmony for over 10 years. Best colorists, best customer service, very talented, always accommodating - they are the BEST in the DMV - and affordable hair care - and you always walk out looking beautiful.

My 86 year old mother has been going here for a number of years. She used to take herself, now I have been taking her for past several years. This is wonderful family business who take terrific care of their clients and I haven't even started on their skills and abilities of taking care of your hair. Every stylist in the shop is a professional and produces beautiful hair.

I am new to the area and I found this place and I went in with a lot of apprehension because people always mess up my hair. But oh boy was I wrong! The moment I entered the vibe was so warm and service was quick and awesome!! Elif washed my hair and cut long layers with a side bangs. That’s what I had in mind and she said it even before I could say anything. That’s dream come true for any person getting their hair done. Her energy, her positivity and dedication towards what she was doing was amazing! I told her how scared I was getting my hair done from a new place and she made sure the cut would be done exactly the way I want. Totally totally recommend this place! Well... As a Turkish girl, who is very picky and has several bad experience back in Turkey, i still can't believe i have this amazing hair color from these amazing people I was recommended this plce by a very kind lady i met at gym. Ridvan turned my home dyed orange hair to a very beautiful blonde color. They re all very caring people. They don't deceive you. And they don't charge with unreasonable prices. Besides they re very good at their business, also they re all very good people. The best Turkish people i met so far I love my hair. And i am very grateful to you guys. Thank you!

This place is absolutely amazing, everything from being an incredible family owned business to the incredible skill and expertise of each stylist, Hair Harmony is second to no other. My daughter, son, and I all started coming here earlier this year and could not be happier. We have finally found our place to call home, again the team here is so committed to helping us look and feel our best. I've been to MANY salons within the DC metro area over the last 25 years and Hair Harmony by far stands out far above all the rest. If you're looking for a place that will actually listen to you, really, truly cares, is honest, is skilled and always up on the latest techniques and hair-loving products, and just so full of life and energy, Hair Harmony is for you!
