Excellent service and stylist. Shahla made my son who has very long hair very happy. He’s autistic, hadn’t had a haircut in over a year, and came in with tangled hair from not brushing it like he should. Shahla was so kind and patient with my son. She is awesome and we will definitely be back. Gave me a new impression of the hair Cuttery.

I had heard about Melanie and made a appointment with her.
I did touch up on roots and a haircut with blow out.
my hair is long and thick. So layers are hard to do. I wanted choppy pieced layers instead of layers on top of layers.
Melanie started cutting my hair and I saw that she knew exactly how to cut hair.
I ended up with the best haircut of my life at 51.
I was a bit nervous because never went to her.
I gotta tell you this woman is awesome!!!
My hair looks amazing. Thank you so much and giving me faith in hair stylist again. Im forever a returning customer.

Meh. If you’re a guy and just need a basic haircut, this is not a step above great clips or suoercuts, so don’t pay the premium to come here. Unless, perhaps, you can speak the language in which your hair stylist is fluent. I had a terrible time getting my stylist to understand the very basic information of how short I wanted my hair cut. Even showing didn’t seem to help. I don’t plan on returning.

I waited for fifteen minutes and was never helped. During that 15 minutes the woman at the desk made eye contact with me several times, took a phone call to schedule somebody and took the next walk-in client that came in ten minutes after me, completely ignoring me. I walked out. Terrible experience.

Kim is my hairdresser and she is great. She knows what I want done and I leave feeling pretty. Her kindness makes my time with a good. Her chair area is always clean and thats important at the Hair Cuttery in Sterling across from Wegmans.

They messed up my hair, and when I went back for a fix, they did the bare minimum to try and fix it, and the alignment was all over the place in the back. They also kept trying to push me into washing my hair for extra money.

First time at Hair Cuttery at Dulles 28 today and it will be my last. I booked an appointment with Kathleen for a signature cut which includes shampoo and conditioner. She starts off by wetting it and neglected to do the other services.I have curly hair. She obviously didn’t know what she was doing. She starts off cutting it like it was straight hair. She also combed a knot roughly and ripped out a hunk of my hair. When I tried to give her instructions, she didn’t comprehend the English language. I want to add that the salon was very dirty.Will not be returning.
