We were visiting friends in the neighborhood and decided to check this store out even though it's far from where we live. This is a huge store, with veggies and fruits, has some Asian foods but mostly seems to be Latino foods. There are regular national brand items such as ice cream but but they seem a lot more expensive than other local chain stores in the DC area. No doubt a good place for specialty foods but prices not necessarily the best for basic everyday foods unless there are sales I didn't notice.

Just left Coco's food Saturday September 16th at 8:20 a.m. I asked the young lady three times if I got my 1.00 coupon for spending 41.87 you're supposed to get a coupon for $1 if you spend 30.00 dollars. Please Coco foods customers check your receipt before you leave the store they're not giving the coupons that are owed to you. I will never patronize this store again I will go back shopping at WinCo. Coco food thinks people are stupid. Shame on you Nu Yang would give a zero star if possible

This store should be closed. We bought a case of deer park bottles to find that they were fake. Flakes of dirt were in all the bottles and we didn’t notice until half way through the case. They filled it with another source of water, and got bottles that have fake deer park stickers. false marketing, unsafe products. The other reviews say the same. Fix your store or it’s going to close.

One of the better supermarkets near Sterling. Their produce and fruit section is large and quality is good. They have a variety of meat and seafood options too, including halal meat options.Ample parking space available at the location. Usually not too crowded. Would recommend this store to others.

Coco's Food has received a one-star rating due to concerns regarding their sanitation practices and neglect in maintaining/cleaning their freezers. I hope that the store owner takes steps to address these cleanliness issues in order to preserve the reputation of the store. Despite these drawbacks, Coco's Food does have redeeming qualities worth mentioning.Negative experiences include ongoing disorganization, mislabeled hallways, and a mix-up of different cultural products. Additionally, the produce carts are old and somewhat rusty, and the food freezer is filthy and old (like I do not even want to open it and I will not open it). The bottom wooden part of the shelves are broken (more than one throughout the store is broken), and the frozen produce section has an unpleasant odor (but you smell it from the time you walk in). Furthermore, the presence of a restaurant/food store IS NOW inside Cocos Food and this is now bringing a strong and unappealing smell of cooking oil. There are also instances where a whole bin is to the brim with rotten produce. On a positive note, Coco's Food maintains a stock of canned products that are never expired and have a long shelf life. The store offers a diverse range of cultural products. The cashiers display kindness and efficiency, and the inventory staff is exceptionally helpful and welcoming. Additionally, Coco's Food has a convenient section dedicated to various kitchen items such as pots, pans, kabob sticks, knives, plates, mugs, and utensils, among others. It is important for the store to address the negative experiences and work towards improving cleanliness to enhance the overall shopping experience OR you'll lose to someone like Whole Foods (which would be great in your specific location.)*Uploading pictures soon*

I have been going to this place since 2002, it changed ownership few times and I like what they did with the place, I like all international markets it has everything and beyond your expectations when it comes to food and sauce they have the best prices and very good deals I keep going back because I know where is everything is and the people very sweet and friendly they also added few items for Arabic food I love it they are the best long time ago they use to give you presents if you buy with a certain amount it was very cool but I guess when they change owners they don’t do this anymore but still the place is amazing. They have great prices and I really want everyone to go there and support the locals so they can stay open in thank you for having a great place and prices.

Just like all international markets it has everything and beyond your expectations when it comes to food but also I personally have a concept that I use in terms of quality and cleanliness and presentation so with that in mind there is one place that I check is the bathroom and that speaks for itself how proud and dedicated are the owners Try it ??!!!!

I visited yesterday 3/21 and was looking for Red Snapper, all the fish that were displayed over ice looked okay. I went to pick up a some pieces and a sharp fish fin spines/spikes was exposed and got jabbed into my middle finger. I had a plastic bag over my hand and it still went through. I stood there to remove it and the guys just looked at me and offered no help or sympathy. After I left, I went to my car and cleaned it out with alcohol and a band aid. My finger is now swollen, red and very painful. I hope it is not infected. I think they should let the team pick up the fish as patrons are getting hurt when handling the fish to get cleaned.

Terrible service cheap deceiving people. This is the third time this week I've got expired foods/goods. Total bs. This is a Korean owned specialty store that has various international foods etc. unfortunately it's the foods I enjoy and need to go to. Three times a charm. I'm done with this trash place. They do know the Lottes opening soon right down the road, can't wait hope it puts these jerks out of business!!! I dislike cheaters and u cheated me three times in a week. My mistake for not reading the expiration date but this time it was scratched out!!! I took a chance but got home and it was rotten and curled. Idiots better accept my return. The Korean management had no care as his Spanish worker apologized. Don't go to COCOS FOOD INTERNATIONAL. Lottes opens soon in Sterling, Countryside way better fresher vegetables fruits no expired foods. Giant foods has also stepped up by adding my specialty Asian favorites that are cheaper in price. I will say the girl took my return as she opened the product lol I said are you going to taste it? As she squeezed the bottle and creamy mess shot her in the eye

The store is always getting stocked when I come so they always have items, meats, and produce. The store can have a very strong oder some days, the fish isn't always fresh, and same with the poultry. The produce is a hit or miss. Sometimes you'll have bugs in the onions or pineapples ( with my experience)They have a huge Asian selection, Arabic, and Hispanic area so it helps with the foreign finds.I typically only go here if I'm looking for meat if I can't make it to the commissary. The customer service is OK sometimes it can take longer to check out.The prices of things are pricey for the quality sometimes
