This independent bookstore is conveniently located in Reston Town Center with plenty of parking and options to get lunch nearby—everything you need to browse for hours! Absolutely loved browsing the local author selection and can’t wait to return for more.”
“Very nice little plant/book store. Nice selection of plants in good health. Decent variety of books. They have a small kids section. Aisles are very tight and rooms are small.”
“It's a great place to hunt and explore and the ambiance is cozy and kind! However the pot smoking hippie out front was my only negative moment as he was blowing skunk at anyone passing by...lol. Not the store keepers fault at all but just a hilarious moment as we rolled in To find treasures”
“One of the nicest single sorry B&N I've been in. I've lived or visited in 10+ other states and I found this one to be uniquely different I a good way. The layout, bldg height, and the larger dining area and the aisle spacing and random seating all make for a cosh setting.”
“Thank goodness one thrift store still specializes in media. Great selection of books, movies, and games, with really helpful staff! Only complaint is that things aren't exactly in alphabetical order, but you'll want to browse all the aisles anyways.”
“I published my first illustrated book, For the Love of Laxmi with Mascot Books, on February 1, 2022. We started working together on the book in June 2021 - I had already worked with an illustrator to get the designs done on my own, so I didn't end up using their design services, so I cannot entirely comment on that. I worked with Mascot on their publishing, distribution, and marketing options, and I admire them and their work. This was my first book ever, so I had a lot of anxiety about timing, quality, and ensuring we would have a good go-to-market strategy. I initially micromanaged with a million questions, which their team handled so gracefully. I do wish their team provided frequent communications and more face to face/zoom time to help reassure, but outside of that, they were always on top of things behind the scene - the book quality was stunning, the distribution was outstanding, and truly resulted in a great first release. I can't wait to work with them on the other project.”
“Friendly service and a place to get last minute items including newspapers. Has oral products and devices, over the counter medicine and usual food products and drinks.”
“Okay, so I had a hard time finding this place. For those of you who are new to Loudon, it's in the basement of the LR building. It was super easy to find my textbooks here. The cashiers/staff are all so friendly, and they'll help you find everything you need. Returns are super easy too. Just make sure you keep your receipt!”
