Allied Vans was amazing for our cross country move! Everything was packaged well, the administrative staff were so responsive for any of our questions during the process, and not a single thing was broken or lost!

All went well, professional, estimate and costs for storage was accurate. We had a slight discrepancy and they handled it with extreme professionalism. All of our items getting out and back in we’re handled well and from what we can tell only one claim that was totally understandable and in the grad scheme minor. I would recommend this company or use them again if I had to move again.

Our Estimator was very professional, friendly, knowledgeable however, the moving crew and office administrators were very disappointing. The moving crew did not pack the few furniture items we hired them to pack adequately. My family piano was not wrapped correctly or tied up in the truck for transport causing the entire leg to break off and ruin my piano. The movers did not lift our safe while moving it out so they caused $1,650 damage to our wood floor. Additionally, the office administrator in charge of payment details did not know or understand how payments work so we had issues when our goods arrived cross country and the movers could not unload the truck until the issue was resolved. For being an Allied contractor, I would’ve expected much better. This is my 22nd move and I’ve never had these types of issues. The cost was not extremely competitive either.

We had been moving around every year and never had this bad experience with Allied and this is our first booking with them. The rep who came to provide an estimate was very much good and friendly and we totally fell for his words and the quoteAnd they provided the local movers “Bayshore Moving and Storage” . We thought since we are going through a well known mover our move will be good.But when the contracted movers came in they started good but with the boxes they did not take care of them even though we had posted “Fragile” stickers on the boxes which needs more care. The Allied rep told us to post cross tapes to identify them as “fragile” so that the movers can take care of the packages carefully. On top of the tapes, I pasted big stickers with the word “Fragile” but still they did not even consider a bit.And during the delivery just 1 adult and 1 young person came and moved all the items. Took very long to transfer all the items from truck to the home and most of the boxes were damaged. Was totally hurt seeing most of my favorite items damaged. When we started making note of the damaged boxes, the Bayshore movers told the company will hardly consider all these damages coz we did not pack through them. ? This was totally shocking to hear. Till now whichever local movers I have used to move and where I have done my packing, I never had any damaged. But these guys completely gave a very experience with them.

Allied did an incredible job. We’d moved two years ago using a different company and a lot of stuff was broken in the process - Allied was on time, professional and very effective in safely transporting our things.

VOID ALLIED!!!!! DO NOT USE @ALLIEDVANLINES if you want to see you property again!!!! This is a horrible company, they will lose your property and deny the insurance claim. I am only giving them one star because that's the only way to submit this review. I have missing items and they refuse to pay for the $16,000+ loss. They are ruthless thieves. Avoid them if you want to see your property again. They hide behind out-dated forms and inventory processes. They cannot be trusted. AVOID ALLIED!!

First let me say the loading and delivery teams did a great job. We have only found one end table that has damage. The delivery team had about a 6-7 hour delay however they stayed until the job was finished. I was very dissatisfied with Jim, the man who priced the job and gave me the details of the move. We can both agree that the load and move to storage was a huge misunderstanding concerning cost. Of course Jim has no memory of my calling and questioning the charge concerning storage. Since our conversation I have discovered my email to him, which created the forgotten call. Jim did not offer to split the difference , which was over $3,600, he just kept telling me I was lucky to get the two months of free storage and if I wanted him to he would just for go that perk. I told him that was unethical and he said that was an example, not something he would actually do, clearly he was trying to strong arm me since we were only days from moving. I told him if I had the time I would find another mover. I had worked with Jim for over seven months while we were trying to close the deal on our home, he could remember every conversation except the one about the move to storage. He just kept telling me this is how it would be with any mover. He told me I would not pay anything until the move was complete because that is “how real movers do business “ so before we even load I get a call from Sally requesting the $3600 plus dollars. That pretty much set the tone for the move and my opinion of your company. It is a shame that one individual can affect my rating of the company. I hung up on Jim and never want to speak to him again. I would have called management however I did not want my furniture held hostage so I am taking this opportunity to express my displeasure. Since Jim clearly admitted there was a misunderstanding, I think I should be reimbursed half of the first payment. Without that, I would not rate this company as an ethical company. Jim quoted me about six thousand to move me from VA to SC with two free months of storage, then the price ended up close to ten thousand because he had to take it to storage. As I told Jim, I am just screwed because I had signed papers, even though he told me there would be no fees unless I had to store over two months and then it would be $500 plus dollars a month. I had told him we might build and that could be 6-7 months of storage, which is about what the charge appeared to equal. So, you can determine that NO I AM NOT pleased with your service, especially Jim! I have moved over seven times in my life and this was the worst experience by far.

They were very nice, fast, and responsive. Answered any questions I had during the move. A good price considering I was moving over 4 hrs. away. They also showed me damage that previous movers had caused but did not tell me about, which I appreciated. I would definitely consider them again in the future.
