I have been using AOTAX for several years and had no issues. However, last 2 years have been terrible with them. The staff is so incompetent, rude and non-communicative. Contrary to what they advertise, they will never admit their mistake or stand with you in case there is any finding from IRS. I ended up paying penalty on my returns last year which were filed by AOtax. These guys don't admit they made any mistake nor have any standing with IRS to take up their client cases or represent them even after providing all proofs which should have negated the penalty. This year was more worse. They have incompetent staff who don't know how to process forms and documents. They even went to extent to repeatedly advise me to drop that form from my returns and submit incorrect information to IRS on my returns!! When I declined to do it, they stopped all communication. On the last day and last hour of filing I have to fill up all info on turbo tax which correctly accepted and processed all my forms. I ended up paying more in taxes and filing fees but atleast not committed and fraud which AOTAX was trying to get me to do. Pls beware and this company is not what it used to be.

The new team at AOTax makes mistakes in filling. This was not the case back in year 2017 and 2018.

I filed tax with them this year. Paid the fee amount on time. They filed my Federal. The State file is still pending. I am emailing them for last one week to file my state but no response from them. I will never recommend AO tax to anyone.

#AOTax #pathetic you will lose your money due to the incapable team .. AOTax persons don't even know how to find information on IRS website , they are clueless about the basic tax stuff clearly mentioned on IRS website. they screwed up tax filing , which required amendment all due to their mistake .. now for amendment they are charging me 10times more fee !!!! there are so many legitimate tax consultants and softwares in available , better to use their services.. rather that dealing with these high marketing low output bunch of fools.. they will attact you by offering you discounts but that $10-20 discoounts in not worth losing the thousands of dollars of your taxes and days and months you need to deal with them.. it's been more than a year i am going through the pain of their mistakes ....

Great people to work with for your tax filing. I have been with them for 4 years and every year it was hustle free.
You upload - get tax drafted - q&a - pay - tax filed - refund/you owe.
They do a good job in phone and email communications. They are knowledgeable to assist you and they have priority email to look into your case.
I recommend and I will continue to avail their service.

AO Tax is my go to place for tax filing each year. Appreciate their efforts to make the process streamlined and easy. I am using AO Tax for the last 6 years and was never a hassle to file taxes.
