“I brought our beloved parakeet to Dr. Mandel for a second opinion following a poor experience with a bird vet in Purcellville. The other vet had not been gentle with my emotions or with Cogsworth, and gave a grim diagnosis. Dr. Mandel was the complete opposite and took great care in his examination and case history. It would have been a 5-star visit even with bad news, but Dr. Mandel was also able to give us really good news about Cogsworth’s condition! I am so thankful to have found him and look forward to returning with our other pets!”

“I got 6 cats neutered/spayed - 3 boys first visit, 3 girls the second visit. All of my cats recovered quite nicely. I was especially impressed with how well they took care of my girl cats. They did internal stitching instead of external plus surgical glue. I find the recovery was much smoother for these girl cats compared to other girl cats I had gotten fixed when they had external stitching.
I feel they truly cared about my pets. I would highly recommend them! Definitely worth the price. I will be making an appointment with them in March to get 1 more cat neutered.”
