All the employees of the pharmacy are SOOOO very kind and extremely helpful. Plus a WHOLE LOT cheaper. At walgreens my meds were 71 bucks....same meds at Martins is 11.44. I loved the pharmacist and techs at walgreens SOOO much but 60 bucks is 60 bucks in my pocket haha.

It is a breath of fresh air to do business with the Martins Pharmacy in Stephens City! Very courteous and professional. I had a prescription called into another pharmacy in Stephens City that I won't name, but have had terrible experiences there and refuse to do business there any longer. I called Martin's and the pharmacist was very polite and helpful to get my prescription transferred to Martins. Not only are these people more professional and give you their undivided attention, but my prescription ended up being much lower in price. I will never go anywhere else. Thank you for great customer service!

Stopped in here twice to pick up provisions for our trip. They have a large produce section, a variety of 'ready to eat' items both hot and cold, and a salad bar. They carry the 'Natures Promise' brand and have that scary robot thing wandering around, so it must be in the same family of stores as Stop 'n Shop. The store is clean, well stocked and had a nice number of humans available at check-out. It was also conveniently located to our hotel on the same road.

This is by far the worst Martins in the area. Completely unorganized and looking for a simple everyday item turns into a logistical nightmare every time I come here. Frozen ready to heat mashed potatoes should be with the frozen vegetables, correct?? Not... I need to get to the chiropractor ASAP after cranking my neck back and forth looking for something. And I failed to mention in several of the freezer cases, the lights were not working, even though they are motion sensors.

I give them 3 stars because the deli has gotten much better. The bakery used to also be terrible, But I have not had to deal with anyone in a while so I can not say one way or the other. It seems like that since the Food Lion has closed, The prices seem to be higher than ever. Martins knows that there are many people that simply will not shop at Walmart for groceries because of them buying produce and meats from China. But for frozen, boxed or canned foods there is no difference. And Walmart is in total way cheaper. We still buy 90% of our groceries for Martins. But as soon as a Wegmans or something of the sort comes to Winchester, Martins will be a distant memory.

I like all the martins food markets that I have visited. The stores are clean and organized. They have a large variety of organic and healthy foods to choose from as well as regular food items. They are the only stores in my area that carry the milk that I drink. The staff is usually very nice and helpful.

You leave town for the holidays and you remembered to pack everything you need, right? Even when I do pack everything, there's parties and miscellaneous snacks and such. There's always a reason to visit a local grocery store. And if you are in the Stephens City/Winchester area, Martin's is the place to go. For those of us in the South, a good comparison would be a large scale Kroger. A good selection on all types of items, but focused on food and beverage (and in the winter, firewood). I like this place because it feels like a hometown grocer, where people are friendly and helpful and you find local items everywhere. I also like that even when I have come late at night, there are multiple cashiers on hand. They have the usual commodities as well; deli, check cashing, lotto machine, beer & wine. So if you need something, anything, go here. *Insider's Tip -If you are a visitor to the area, pick up some Turkey Hill tea and ice cream. TH technically comes from Pennsylvania, but this will save you the extra driving. The tea is brisk (I like peach and lemon flavored myself) and the ice cream is super creamy. Don't miss out. -Over in the Produce department, you will find refrigerated cider (that's how you know it's at least a step above others). They have some local cider in gallon jugs. Yes, you can drink a gallon of this good stuff.
