Mostly a pleasant experience; it can get pretty busy at this location, and the pharmacy seems to be understaffed, but overall a decent experience.

My experience on Sunday, January 15th was fabulous. I had just purchased alot of product and had mentioned to the cashier that I was disappointed that they didn't have the particular item that I wanted. She actually went and found it. I call that great customer service. Her name is Brenda.

Previously the pharmacy staff has been less than helpful, not wanting to do the work to transfer a Rx to their location. We decided to go somewhere else. I had to call again today and they were more helpful than before. I am hopeful that they continue to improve.

Witnessing the hecticness of this location and the amount of calls, questions, problems, trying to fill Rxs etc etc it wore me out watching them. It must be very difficult to keep a good attitude the whole time when you are under this much pressure EVERY DAY. The Mendoza pharmacist there seems really nice and always has a great attitiude. The drive-thru could use a little work on their dealings with people, but I try to give everyone a break, because I have often been impatient and sounded rude when dealing with people on the phone all day that are giving me a hard time. Yes, we would like to see another pharmacy in the area of some sort, so this one wasn't so crowded and overworked. i.e. there is Martin's, Wal Mart, Costco but these are not drive thru.

Echoing other Yelpers: Find a different pharmacy.For whatever reason, the head pharmacist seem to have a giant stick permanently wedged up his butt. I made two attempts to select this as my new pharmacy when I moved to town, but on both occasions, the pharmacy was neither friendly nor professional. Showing up for a flu shot? Plan to wait 10-15 minutes AFTER your appointment time. He'll get to you when he's good and ready.Transferring a prescription? Expect to make all the calls yourself. They won't call your doctor's office... They won't even contact the other CVS! Can't you just make their job easier by going somewhere else?Why, yes. Yes, I can.

Last week Pharmacist Amelie Gale came in EARLY to have my prescription ready for me when I needed to pick it up right when they opened. What a lovely woman.I have had such difficulty with this pharmacy for 3 years. This is is first time in a LONG time that there was not a problem with my prescription. I hope that the talk I had with the pharmacist regarding a “certain male pharmacy tech with an attitude” paid off. He is rude and messes up prescriptions constantly. I can’t stand to watch how he treats customers.

Extremely rude on phone after pharmacy made error in filling wrong medication. Would not take responsibility for the error or money that was paid for the wrong medication. Always long wait at drive through. Very frustrating and horrible customer service. Unfortunately this is the local pharmacy covered under insurance, otherwise I would most definitely go elsewhere for my elderly father’s medication.

The pharmacy receptionist/ cashier has terrible customer service. No greetings, no smile, no communication.....literally opened the window & looked at me like "WHAT"......I can't wait to relocate! I dread having to go to the pharmacy & it's so unfortunate because CVS is literally 5mins. from me. However, the rest of the actual pharmacy techs are great!

Please read the full review.There's only 3 people working in the pharmacy area (and even if 3 people tried their hardest, (which I'm really not sure if they are or not, I'd like to give them the benefit of the doubt since they might really be trying their best), there's only but do much that they can do while they have to deal with hundreds of customers)… how & why is this location still open? When will y'all hire more employees (who're well qualified) to help this location out more? At this rate, it might be better to consider shutting down… Honestly, not the best customer service at all… and awful wait times too! I've had issues with my meds & refills- like when they claim it's too soon to refill (even though I take them as directed)…so someone must've miscounted the quantity. I can text or use their site or app to request refills- but most of the time, they just never check those things since they claim that it's too soon or that they've never gotten the request… (CVS, what's the point of having these things if nobody checks, or if they say 1 thing but the store pharmacist says another? Is anyone even communicating or with each other when it comes to this location, & the text/email/site/app people? Is anyone properly updating anything?)Lantz's Pharmacy & Gift Shop is looking REALLY good & I'm seriously considering making them my pharmacy, plus if you're the kind of person who'd rather talk to a real person with every call, then it's a safer perk! (It's been pondered over for a while now, & with all the trouble with this CVS that I've always had (and it really seems to stay consistently bad, if not getting worser & worser)

If you use this pharmacy to fill your prescription you are taking your life in your hands. I will be using different pharmacy from here on out. As a healthcare worker I am begging you to do the same. This pharmacy is displaying complete gross negligence and incompetence. They cannot fill medications in a timely manner, they have incorrectly filled my medications several times and have even given me the wrong medication on 2 separate occasions. Their store manager does not care at all, most likely because she has no clue. I have dealt with her on two occasion and both times caught her in lies. Please I beg of you for your and your family's health and safety go somewhere else.

The pharmacy is AWFUL. I could never imagine treating patients the way they do. No regard for their time and customer service does not exist to them. I understand they may be short staffed but I have WATCHED them completely disregard people. I have sat in the drive thru miserably ill just trying to get my medication for over an hour. And this is after they sent me home earlier in the day saying they couldn’t fill it then and I would need to come back. It was amoxicillin. Just terrible. Go elsewhere

This is for the pharmacy part. The store part is fine. Pharmacy: Absolutely awful at this point. The drive through window is closed and the line is always 10+ people long. They are understaffed which means prescriptions are behind. I have gone weeks without my regular prescriptions being filled. It also takes like 5-10 minutes to help each person so if you're in line, bring something to entertain yourself. Three examples of truly unacceptable situations I have encountered here: 1. I went to pick up my prescriptions on a Sunday, & the pharmacist hadn't shown up an hour into their shift. 2. My daughter needed an antibiotic, and when I went that day the entire store was closed bc the employee who was supposed to open hadn't shown up. 3. An antibiotic was sent in for me at 10am & when I went at 6pm it wasn't filled, and the girl got a massive attitude when I told her I would wait for it to be filled, after waiting in line for literally 30 minutes. Go somewhere else.
