“Pretty nice place! Based on other reviewers, I almost didn’t go but am glad I did.For context - I’m sort of picky when it comes to antiques. I tend to stick to the Victorian era and prefer the unusual. The photos of candles and 80s stuff don’t do it justice. There are plenty of cabinet cards and tin types, large charcoal portraits and pictures in the $20-30 range. Cabinet cards were 6 for $10! I saw a few older dolls at only $50 each. Ended up with a fairly uncommon embalming fluid bottle of all things. There’s a booth at the top of the stairs with the lowest prices I’ve seen in a while for true antiques. It was nicely curated and balanced. My only complaint - and I don’t know if this is an issue in the area or what, was the intense security. I really don’t like buying when I feel like the shop assumes I’m going to steal. I usually go through stores twice and found what I wanted at second glance. When we checked out a comment was made that they knew we had already seen everything and it made me feel like I was being watched and I felt like the man was looking to see what was in my hands. But who knows, maybe they had a theft issue. Overall a nice shop.”

“A little something for everyone! From antiques to new handcrafted items...old nostalgic pieces and knick- knacks, clothing, books, & vinyl...this place has it all along with a knowledgeable and friendly staff. Highly recommend, clear your schedule because you could spend hours here...this place is a huge gem tucked away in a small town.”

“This place is exactly what I look for in an antique store. They carry a huge range of items at very reasonable prices (and I say that not as someone who actually knows anything about antiques and can recognize a good price on a valuable item, but as your average, everyday thrift shopper). They are super friendly and the place just feels very clean and well cared for. If you're into colored glassware or need some unique dishes, this place is great for that.”

“Two thumbs up, these folks understand what customer service is all about. They are more than fair and if you don't like the price, you do not have to sell to them. They treated me more than fair! I will be a repeat customer!”

“Great little antique shop. Owner welcomed me right when I walked in with my friend and I felt right at home shopping there. Lots of good deals on vintage items, the owner was a pleasure to buy from and I will certainly be back.”

“I'm so glad we finally stopped to take a look around. I was very surprised at how endless this indoor Flea Market is. There's everything there from Antiques to Anime Art. And of course I found a vendor who sold beautiful stones. Some were set in handmade jewelry. Like the one I purchased. If you're looking for something unique or that one idea you had when you were a kid. I'm sure you'll find it there. I can't wait to go back to see what I may have missed.I bought a Rhodonite ring”

“Dave is the owner and scours estate sales to bring us all sorts of antiquities.

LONG VALLEY TRADERS carry original pieces and some, selected, replica furniture pieces.

Dave does have a specialized interest in Theodore Alexander, Henkel Harris, and Maitland Smith designed furniture.

Dave has support from MaryLou and Jessica with on-site and web page inventory management.

LONG VALLEY TRADERS is conveniently located in downtown Winchester, VA.

If you are looking for a certain piece, or artist, designer, the staff there is very approachable and will cater a search to your dream item.

Stop on by and explore. This location happened to be cold apple storage for the White House Apple juice brand. It is a 1-story with basement facility with plenty to see.”

“The other reviews are spot on. This is a must stop if you are in the market for antique American furniture from the 18th and 19th centuries. On top of the beautiful furniture, the owner is engaging and knowledgeable. Go.”

“We've bought quite a few pieces from GNC. Some of the bad reviews are absolutely unfair. The entire process is readily available online. Looks like some people were unprepared and lazy. The entire staff have ALWAYS been kind and friendly. They pick your items, that are usually left of some type of a cart for YOU to take to your vehicle. If it needs to be disassembled...that's on you.”
