I am a longtime customer. The staff is always friendly and helpful, my phone calls promptly returned and my plant questions receive CORRECT and helpful answers. The landscaping service has helped over the years with everything from sod removal to careful, on-time mulch delivery. Trees, bushes, and plants purchased are well cared for and healthy. The Staunton Plant Company is always my FIRST stop for garden needs.

We started a nonprofit,needed trees to make a park-like beautiful place for walking trails...we shared our goals with David and he kindly gifted us trees which were a huge help!! The plants and trees here are top quality and we would recommend this place for all your tree or shrub nests!!

Went to purchase a blueberry bush...the lady that helped us was phenomenal!!! Instead of pushing a sale on us, she suggested we come back in the spring when they have a big selection...also gave us info on cherry and peach trees. Did not push us to buy and we didn't, but we will ABSOLUTELY be back to get blueberry bushes...lady was so cute...she was so proud of the peaches growing on her trees, like a mama bear showing off her cubs! Love this place!!! Huge selection of fruit, vegetables, and flowers! All well maintained! Glad we found this golden nugget in Staunton!

I have had such a positive experience with Staunton Plant being a customer there for the last year. They have such an awesome selection of trees and shrubs and the plants are all maintained well and are healthy. I mainly enjoy buying perennial plants for my gardens from them. Their selection of sun and shade perennials are different from other plant businesses in the area. The staff is also really kind and talkative. Keeley is always there to help and assist with my plant questions. I will continue to be a lifelong customer! :)

This is Dean’s wife. So I was searching for some hydrangeas to plant in a home that literally had zero landscaping when we moved in 4 years ago. Right before Covid actually. We had quite a few interior renovations so other than extensive upkeep on the 5 acres, we have done nada for planting. Finally I decided this is the year!! I went out prepared to spend money and none of the nurseries I’ve used in the past had aaaaanything I would spend money on. See, I do NOT have a green thumb at all! After hours going from one place to the other and asking the employees questions I decided to go to Staunton Plant. I have no experience with them, and in my book they are relatively new, so no feedback from the locals. However I was desperate. Well they had the healthiest plants that I had seen that day and the employees there were so very helpful! I fully admitted right away that I know absolutely nothing and need advice. Staunton Plant was the only place that actually seemed to know what they were talking about. The other nurseries just read the tags (like I was doing, hello?) so I decided on some beautiful hydrangeas, but when I got them home and set them in the bedding area I was horrified. They were probably going to outgrow the area within a couple of years. I had measured beforehand but real time they looked way too large. So I took a chance and took them back to Staunton Plant and they allowed me to return them no questions asked. I was able to find the dwarf version of the same hydrangea and lickety split I’m back home with the same plant but one that won’t require constant pruning for the space it’s in. Staunton Plant is small but they have a beautiful selection of plants and an awesome staff. So ?? to them!
