Took my 2020 Toyota Highlander here to have it washed after all the snow, ice, and rain. Naturally it was covered with salt brine, road dirt, and mud so I selected the best wash. This car wash did a very mediocre job at best. When I got home the back of my car was pretty much untouched except where the guy scrubbed it before going in, and the front wasn’t much better. Took it back for a free re-wash and still looks the same. Considering SUVs/crossovers are the predominant type of vehicle these days you would think this car wash would be optimized to clean them. It is not. Will not be returning. Never have this issue with Tidal Wave.

I have used Petersons in the past and been extremely pleased but today was a different story. I paid $39.99 for a Gold wash and Interior detail. The outside of my car doesn’t look like it was even washed. There is still bird poop on the side and bug guts on the front. The inside of my car did not even look like it was touched. On Petersons website, it states you get windows, vacuum, dust dash and door jams cleaned. None of that was done. I had to come home and detail the inside of my car myself. I will not be returning to another Peterson’s car wash.

By far the best car wash available in Staunton with FREE vacuums available as you leave the car wash machine. If you get an ice cream (or anything else) at Kline's across the receipt will get you a $3 discount on any car wash.

I have had the same experience as I see many others have had. the results used to be so much better. on occasion my car may come through the was and have a spot or two, but it was rare. and never an issue with the interior cleaning. not the case at all now. and others are correct-they don't prep the car anymore before it goes through the wash. sad to say, but I'm looking for another serviced.

Since it was a beautiful day, my husband and I had the windows down. We closed the front windows, and as the young man walked around spraying the windows, we didn't realize the back ones were open. He never reminded us, and we would have gone through the car wash with the back windows wide open if I didn't remember at the last minute and close them. And I'm not sure what the soft cloth means because we never saw any soft cloth being used on our car.

Went thru the $18 car wash. It broke. Was told I only missed the dry cycle. Stopped at grocery and the entire back of car was not washed at all. Drove back over and attendant was extremely rude. Said I would just have to come back when it's fixed. I said is that all you can do? He rudely replied what do you want me to do? I said a refund. He said we don't do refunds. I said I live 2 hrs away I can't just come back. He said well what are you doing here then. I cussed him. I'm in the area because I took my elderly father to chemo. Worst experience with a business in my life.

I paid $40 and left a $6 tip but then realized the whole back of the car was still dirty as if it hadn't even been cleaned, also there were bugs stuck to my grill an hood. That was a lot of money to not have a clean car. it should have been sparkling.Service: Auto detailing
