Thank you Chris Lint for a awesome experience and your patience while I found the right car you answered all of our questions with a smile and honesty through the whole process. By far the best car salesman we have ever had. Thank you Chris!

The people here are always very kind and try to be as helpful as possible. Unfortunately, I usually experience long delays when getting service for very minor issues despite making prior appointments. Today for example, I arrived at a scheduled 10:30 appointment. No one told me that several of the technicians were out sick and I was lead to believe that my appointment was still going on as scheduled without any delays. I was there for over 2 hours for very minor service. This happens frequently.

AWFUL! UNPROFESSIONAL! I applied for a specific vehicle and sent a message on Sunday that I would secure it with a Deposit. I had to call and follow up vs getting a call from the Sales/Finance Dept. I called at 2 pm and the sales person who auto-emailed me on Sunday left for the day and another let me know that the vehicle I wanted, need had now been sold. Likely a hit to my credit as well. This is unbelievable and Unprofessional. I will make additional complaints to the VA BBB as well. I was serious about this purchase and need this particular make, model and year for certain reasons. The LACK of Care to an applicant on your website is appalling, WHY EVEN DO SO? And I was coming from out of state (nearby). I wasted my time looking and applying as well as stating I wanted to secure it with a deposit to hold it while processing it. No one called me this morning to discuss it. Horrible sales practices.**Appreciate the Response, unsure if it is actually true or not. Either way, have a more timely response to inquiries as well as removing vehicles that are sold on Saturday from the website or a way to post SOLD on it to avoid these types of circumstances. I'm in sales as well in an industry where if an application is on the product it is no longer on our website unless denied/cancelled etc.

Not one to typically review but McDonough deserves it. Live in Charlottesville but this is the 2nd vehicle I have purchased from this dealership. Quite honestly, the staff and prices are better than Charlottesville. Beth and Dave (and another gentleman as well) were professional but not solely focused on "bottom line" or their "cut" of the deal. It was evident their objective was to ensure another customer left satisfied. I purchased a vehicle that was used and even after the sale they noticed a locking mechanism issue with a door. They could have easily let this slide and allowed me to pickup vehicle. However, they informed me of the issue and corrected. This example speaks to the character of the staff at McDonough. Thanks for another great experience!

Huge shout out to Dave, Derrick, snd Beth!! They helped get me the deal I wanted in less than 48 hours!! I came from quite a ways away and they made everything happen as needed. An amazing car at a great price and just really great costumer service all around! Thank you!

Do NOT trust them with your car repairs! Besides terrible service in general and not having my car fixed, they asked several times if the mechanic could drive my car home. I said no each time. When I got my car back today, it had been driven 110 miles. They claimed to have fixed the issue twice and I had to take it back twice because the issue just came right back. I have placed several calls to the service manager with no response. Don’t waste your time or money here!

Horrible experience. David had horrible customer service. I contacted about a vehicle on their website. David’s exact words were “…it has not been cleaned detailed or through the shop yet so it is not ready for sale at this time" I went back and forth with David over 11 days via email and kept asking when it would be available. He kept saying it was still in the shop. Next thing I know, the car gets sold out from underneath me before I even got a chance to look at it. Not sure how a car that is "... not ready for sale at this time" can be sold before I was even told it was ready. Shady salesman tactics. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone.

Great experience purchasing a used car! Saw a car I was interested in on one of the used car web sites. Since it was late I sent a contact message asking if the vehicle was available. My message was answered promptly the next morning letting me know that he car was still there. Set up a time to be there between 12 and 1 that same day. When I arrived, Mark had the car pulled up front and running waiting for us. Absolutely no pressure tactics to sell and were willing to let me take the vehicle home for two days to check it out. We actually made the decision to purchase car the same day and didn't need the extra time. Purchase process was quick and easy and the dealership kept the car to service and detail it. Sent me a message when it was done so I could come pick it up. Have to say this purchase was by far the easiest and best vehicle transaction I have ever done, and I have purchased quite a few vehicles over the years. Shout out to McDonough Toyota (and especially Mark Brooks) who made my purchase experience a great one!

My husband had gone to McDonough to "order" a vehicle back in late November. He paid the $1000 deposit and had a printed order with the vehicle we wanted and the options we wanted to be added on. Flash forward to January and Gerald Wells called back saying that we needed to pay an additional $680 because the factories weren't building vehicles without blind spot monitors, which are listed as optional for the vehicle we wanted. We did not want that option on our vehicle, and we did not want to pay extra for something we didn't want in the first place. We are now in the process of getting our deposit returned. If dealers are going to insist on forcing the ordering process on the public they need to hold to the purchasing agreement. Insisting on extra payment for an option that is not requested is verging on extortionate.

This is a critique for Toyota not the dealership, I just.paid $1164 for a new headlight on my 2017 Toyota Prius. This is unacceptable- the whole assembly had to be replaced rather then just the bulb . What is Toyota thinking?.It was bad enough with my 2007 Prius it cost me over $100.00 then because you had to remove the front bumper to replace the bulbs. I did this 4 times on that car. This is my last Prius.

Jeff McDaniel, Steve Cosby and Helen Shibut made it easy! Great service, great experience. Well worth the 90 minute drive from Roanoke I made. Love my 4th version of a 4runner! I'll be back for more.

100% recommend. Dave Woods was my Sales Specialist and he was upfront and excellent to work with. For reference, I bought a 2022 Corolla. I also use their service department for my 2022 Camry and have always had a great experience. And don't tell them I said this, but I marked my tires to see if they were doing tire rotations properly and they passed with flying colors, haha! This specific dealer also offers an engine for life guarantee which can be used at other Toyota dealerships, granted it is only valid for the original owner.Folks, in this day and age of car shortages, McDonough Toyota DOES NOT add that BS "market adjustment" to any of their cars. They offer the car at MSRP, with a meager doc fee of $299. There may also be a small fee for all-weather floor mats or door guards, but that is a manufacturer option and not installed at the local dealership, so they have little control over that.I was not trading in a vehicle, so I can't speak to how fair their trade offers are, but to get a new car for $299 over MSRP is a steal. Long gone are the days of wheeling and dealing for discounts, but they offer a great product for a fair price. Keep in mind that there are very few new cars on any dealership lots, so you will likely have to wait 1-2 months for your perfect car to arrive from the manufacturer.

This is the second time we have bought a Toyota tundra from McDonald's Toyota everywhere else that we went the car company's treated us like we weren't even worth their time McDonald Toyota as soon as we went in there the people were like family and took care of us like he did everything he could to get us into a vehicle we wanted and they did it again for the second time in the world I suggest everyone everyone that needs a vehicle needs to go talk to McDonald's Toyota they are great people I can't say too much about the service department but that's not me because I don't take my vehicle there but I do know that the sales and service is great

Sales Consultant Gerald Wells was very informative and patient helping my senior citizen father select a car. He truly listened to my father's needs and matched him to a car that my dad absolutely loved and gave the family a sense of relief as being safe and reliable. For over a year, my father would pop in and ask Gerald about features of the car and each time, Gerald made himself available and patiently walked him through it. My father just passed and when we brought back the lease, Gerald was so sorry as if he lost not a customer but a friend. If you want a honest sales person who will treat you like family and believes customer service goes beyond the signature on the paper, look no further.
