I used to love shopping here, butI can no longer afford to because, $2.99-$3.99 for used towels? $1.99 for a single jar? The same price as Walmart for new carpet? A dress that was missing the belt, and they wouldn't deduct $1.00 because it violates store policy. Clearly they've lost site of what's important here. To provide a service for the lower income community...maybe? It's not evident.

I love shopping at thrifts, they’re cool with lots of old memories. But I do not enjoy shopping to the sound of the boss yelling at an employee. Me and several others had turned to the sound. Honestly, Goodwill should treat their employees better, not the only store I’ve seen this happen in.

I will not be shopping at any goodwill of the valley location any more due to the absolute insanity of the pricing. How grifty can this organization be when pricing FREE DONATED ITEMS. You are hurting the community, not helping! Everyone from the pricers (who have pricing quotas by management) all the way up to Richmond Vincent Junior (president of goodwill of the valley) should be absolutely disgusting and ashamed by this behavior. Support your local Thrift stores that actually help the community, not a greedy corporate one who only wants to line their own pockets!

Absolutely the most chaotic and dirty goodwill in the valley. This was once a million dollar store. What in the world happened??

We were impressed with how clean the store was! Very clear where to go, or find what we were looking for. We found some GREAT buys! Loved that it was half off for the color selected and $1.00 for another color. Staff were friendly. Some shoes were new and clothes we found. The shoes I picked up are $50+ (at Macy's, Kohl's, DSW) and they cost $4.99!!! Wow!Touched us when we saw the little food house outside. We will come back to put some items inside. We definitely recommend this location & we will return!!!

Wayyyyy better then Waynesboro. Staff is friendly and polite. The main Manager at this location has been friendly to me on several occasions. Computers have went down a few times at this location when I choose to shop, but electronics is never anyone’s fault. They have decent items to choose from.

Editing my review a month later… shortly after I shared this review, I went back to the store and learned that the nice manager is no longer an employee… and Goodwill pushed out several others, as well. Sad. I will not be returning to this location and will honestly do my best to stay away from all Goodwills. Shady company.Second edit: I decided to give it one more try… the previous manager would NEVER allow this

It has been a long while since I visited, but hoped to find an item today. (I didn't.)What I found was a very neat, organized, and clean facility with a friendly staff. Staff was busy straightening, but willing to speak and help. An immaculate young man was meticulously dust mopping. Their efforts created a wonderful shopping experience... eye appeal! They have lots of nice, and even new items.CHECK THEM OUT!

I am very disappointed in goodwill on Greenville Ave in staunton. Very unprofessional behavior from a female employee with very black long hair. She was was venting to goodwills customers about issues with a prior employer and apparently this couple was a customer of prior employer as well. This lady told them how she and her sister was going to beat this ex employer and apparently tell all of staunton how previous employer really was .And not to spend money there. Go to Beverly st instead .Now , goodwill isn't the place to smear a ex employer or talk to goodwill customers about such drama . It was uncalled for and Goodwill needs to address this behavior immediately

It's a Goodwill store. Not exactly too much to say about that. If you've seen one you know what to expect before going in. The changing rooms were nice and clean. Store was well organized. Very long wait at checkout as the cashier's were quite slow but they're all extremely friendly.
