This pharmacy would not accept my insurance, because the system said my insurance info was invalid. Which is fine, not their fault. So I asked that my prescription be transferred back to CVS. I was told it was transferred to cvs. I go to cvs days later they say it was never transferred. I call fishersville family pharmacy and let them know. The woman got defensive with me and told me they did transfer the prescription to cvs and they got verbal confirmation it was transferred. She did not check for me and did not give me any helpful info. I said okay I’ll call cvs again I guess.. cvs still didn’t have it. I called back again, turns out the pharmacist at fishersville family pharmacy deleted it instead of transferring it, and didn’t tell me. I had no idea and apparently they didn’t either. They never called to let me know. I had to call both pharmacies multiple times. So now I have to call my doctor, and get her to call in the medication again because it was deleted instead of transferred and no one told me. And I’m the one that has to call the doctor not the pharmacy that deleted it. This delayed me a week of getting my prescription

I have used this pharmacy for Many yrs...I hace not once had a problem with presciption...and the Staff is Amazing! You wont get Faster and accurate service anywhere else...and with a Smile!

If I could give this place a negative 5 stars, I would! One day I had to come over three separate times and another day in the SAME week, I went to pick up my boyfriend's meds for him and was told they didn't have the medicine even though he called it that morning and they said it wouldn't be a problem!

Dropped off prescription on 11/21 went back to pick up on 11/27 was told it wasn't ready and would NOT be ready until 12/3 and this was NOT something that had to be special ordered!!!!

The whole team at Fishersville Family Pharmacy is simply fantastic! They do their best and go out of their way to make sure you have the medications you need, when you need them. Also, since it isn't a HUGE corporate pharmacy like CVS, Walmart, etc., they also remember who you are when you walk through the door, which makes you feel so much more at home. I highly recommend this pharmacy to anyone who wants great service and I am more than happy that I started going there and don't plan on stopping anytime soon!
