Great price , the room was nice besides the loud exhaust fan in the bathroom and the hot water wasn't very hot and the water pressure wasn't the best either. Friendly staff.

Tried this hotel for one night due to location/price. The good is the location, close to restaurants, shopping. The desk clerk was helpful & friendly. The not-so-good is the condition of the room. When we went inside, it was so hot that my husband had to leave the door open while the ac was turned on just to cool the room down. The carpet is old and dirty, needs to be replaced or removed altogether. The bed was OK, needs more pillows and comforters that don't have cigarette burns. The water pressure in the shower was good. There was no breakfast at all, other than coffee and a juice machine that was out of order. Would we stay again? Probably not, unless they improve the facility and add breakfast options.

What do I say? Stay at an Econo Lodge by the highway, get what you expect! Though this time I got a little less than expected. Mainly in the pillow department. I came into the room, which felt sad (I can't pinpoint why, but it just had a sad feeling) to find only one sad flat pillow on the bed that was at least made. The room appeared to have been cleaned, just not revisited for finishing touches. Though, when I say cleaned it felt like the housekeeper was going through the motions. I got bad the first night with the one pillow and the flatsheet folded up under it (and yes I bring my own bedding when I can for places like this where I want to improve my comfort and question cleaning practices). It wasn't a great stay but I survived. If I come back I'll throw in a few extra bucks for a slightly nicer hotel.Noteworthy details: Need to invest in some pillows.

This hotel is the buggiest place I’ve ever been. I would not recommend this place for any one. The bugs actually have infested my house . We’ve tried exterminating, steam heat ,nothing works. The health department should be told.

Stayed there to spend the night because we didn't want to travel at night, we came in from Washington going back to North carolina... it was ok if you just want to spend one night, kind of old and needs renovation but it serves its purpose for a one night stay... would I stay there again? Nope... I got scared by a guy walking around the building, maybe one of the guest... and I wasn't able to sleep because the double lock was broken and it scared me that someone might come in... also the place smells of corrosive chemicals, not good!...but the location is good because it's near walmart and restaurants.Rooms: Ok.. old but clean... the beddings had cigarette burns on them.Safety: Not sure about safety...Walkability: It's by the road and near Walmart and many restaurants

Thoroughly didnt mind this motel other than finding bed bugs in 102. Got switched rooms instantly but housekeeping was an issue. They took the dnd sign off the door while asleep and stated for the 2nd time that this has happend that we didnt pay for the time we did. They saw clothes on the floor (we were living their) and refused to let us stay any longer because apparently it was too messy. They would not allow us to pay for anymore timee. A couple of the staff were super friendly and tried helping us because we were in a bad situation. Incase the info can be used for any other families struggling. There is no "Weekly rate" it is $88.79 a night and $117 AFTER a 10% discount for fridays and Saturdays. But for an entire week we paid $553.39 with a 10% discount due to our situation. Housekeeping is the owners wife.

The place is a dump, super dated and absolutely filthy. Their towels are stained and it’s so noisy. People are yelling really early in the morning and woke me up everyday; I didn’t sleep well while there. The website says they offer breakfast, they do not! The lobby is cleaned with bleach and the smell is so strong I couldn’t breathe. The older man who works the desk during the day couldn’t be more unpleasant. I will never stay here and I don’t recommend you do either.

The rooms were decent. We only pulled off because of Bad weather on 81 but all in all the clerk was pleasant and location was convenient. Of course there were guests that got loud and unruly in the middle of the night. The one thing that turned me off was the live roach I killed crawling between the beds - ugh...Rooms: Comfortable and new appliancesWalkability: Lots of stores around. Went to Sheetz for coffee the next morning.

Decent for the stay. The room was nonsmoking and the bed was comfortable. Upon walking in the floor appeared to not have been vacuumed. The shower had really good water pressure and when I requested housekeeping they did come. I stayed here because they offered breakfast but they don’t have any due to “Covid.” So I wish that had been advertised. I stayed in the secondary building which was nice but there was 3 incidents where the lock to the building wouldn’t work. They said it happens a lot but honestly it would be nice for them to fix it but they said the other door didn’t have that problem so it’s just inconvenient. I was able to extend my stay and stay in the same room. The price was good and it was in an excellent location with Walmart across the road and many restaurants nearby.

This was not our first choice. Everywhere from Winchester, VA to Staunton VA was sold out. After searching for a hotel/motel for 3 hours, we finally found this spot. My three main complaints: burn holes (most likely from cigarettes) on the top bed cover, looked like water stains on both of the beds/pillow cases, and a/c did not work. Overall value not great at $99 for the room. If you have to find a place to stay, why not. If you have other options, it is probably wise to go a different route.
