I was just in this dollar general about an hour ago, I was so nervous as this was my first time in a store since October because I had developed agoraphobia. Valerie (Val) didn’t even know but treated me with so much kindness, it’s very clear she cares for her customers and her job. I’ve never had such a good experience in a dollar general. She deserves a raise! AND a promotion 100/10 service

On June 15 at around 3:50 PM I experience a very sad moment. I’m not from the side of Virginia I’m from Fairfax Virginia, but I came here to visit a friend and I went into this Dollar General to get drinks. The cashier greets the person in front of me gladly with great hospitality. She also greets the person behind me, with great hospitality in a smile on her face. When I come to the register, I greet her with a smile, and of course of asked her how her day was. She looks at me with an empty look as if she was agitated that I was there doesn’t say anything to me I even said thank you after my transaction I didn’t even get a response from her not even you welcome or anything . I don’t know if this was a prejudice moment or not but I do feel very targeted! Hopefully this gets to the owner please hire people who are willing to treat people with dignity and respect please and thank you!! I will not be doing shopping here ever again neither will I recommend anyone to come to this Dollar General !!

Replaced Customer Service with production.. not friendly at all. No one speaks to you when you come in, never has an attendant at a register. Today the line was packed and customers were all the way in the aisle’s . 3 workers were UNPACKING merchandise and when asked if somebody would come open a register, She said NO … unprofessional unacceptable…we were made to stay in line and use the 1and only self checkout service. Customer service and common courtesy ????? Management is ridiculous. I put my 3 items down and left to go to another store… if you’re not feeling welcomed or appreciated as a longtime customer then your definitely going to be inconvenienced… Customers should not have to wait for a box to be opened to get service in a timely manner…

I like going to this store because every time I go in, I always see something different. Though I wasn't planning on spending extra money, the prices are affordable and I don't mind spending it.Dollar General is just that..A General Store that has everything you need. Except...Tracing paper. I NEED Tracing Paper badly. I can't move on with a project I'm working on until I get some.

So rude, I walked up to the counter, wasn’t even greeted, the guy who looked like he rolled out of a garbage can, continue to have a conversation with his coworker with bright red hair about how his bank account was negative and they charged him a fee, which as a customer no one needs to hear your business. The man then wouldn’t even tell me my total, I gave him the cash and he just jerked it out of my hand. Did not see a name tag were I could put his name on here. Still didn’t say a word to me as he shoved the receipt in my hand and continue to talk to his coworker about his bank account being negative. Not a happy camper and probably never give business to Dollar General again. Disappointed. Disgusted.

A little messy but it's the dollar store so imo I don't really expect super clean isles and such. Usually buy cheap snacks here
