My experience this week was so wonderful with Susan. I called her my Miracle Worker. Thanks to all of you for the help you've given me, you have no idea how much. PCB is a perfect fit for me. I was a longtime customer of Carter Bank and was worried when they sold some of their banks. So glad I landed with PCB. No problems with anything. Great people.

My sister wrote my daughter a check from her account at Carter in the amount of 25 dollars. My daughter and I went to cash it at Carter. They were taking a long time and finally the lady came back and said she needed all the information on this piece of paper she gave us. It asked for social, phone number, employment and occupation. I asked her what did she need all that for. I guess it was the manager that answered for her and said all institutions do that since I dont have an account with them. I said this is my sisters bank and that is her check written from this bank. I also told him he had her ID. He said if I wanted the check cashed he needed that information to track us. I instantly knew he thought we were forging a check. So I gave him the info anyway. I then saw him keep looking the check over. I told him just give me the check and the other info. They must have called my sister because she also called me. Well let's be clear I don't forge checks and if there ever was an imaginary world where I did, itd damn sure very more than what I make in an hour. I guess the fact my daughter being mixed played a role their assumptions because I couldn't think of any other reason other than racism for them to assume we were forging a stupid check!! I hope they felt real d*** when my sister verified her check.
