Nice record shop in Staunton. Owner was fun to chat with and he had a nice selection of vinyl and CDs. If you're passing through or nearby, make the drive to check it out.

I have attempted four times to visit the store. All during hours of operation that are posted on the door. I have yet to enter.

A very nice small business. They had a large selection of vinyls. I was actually surprised to find the one I stopped in to check on considering it was a rather obscure album release.

Over 2 years ago...I walked past this place at about 3 in the morning. I was on my way to work, Hardee's. When my shift ended, I retraced the path I took back home...because I wanted to just window shop this place...Beverley St. Records & Collectibles. I think I stood in front of those two windows for half an hour...in the hot sun. They weren't open, but who doesn't like/Love window shopping. Over the next couple of years I walked by the shop, and ALWAYS got my window shoppin' in.This shop is so... Time consuming. I mean I could spend an entire afternoon going thru all of it, and at the end want to purchase almost all of it.The owner, I can't remember his name, is such a 'Nice Ol Chap'. That's the impression he gave me. 'Ol Chap!! Me being from The Bronx, NY... There aren't places like this, if there are...the feeling and warmth doesn't exist when you walk through their doors...like the warmth and REAL greeting at BSR & C. I would Love to work in a shop like this. Either going to yard sales to see what to stock, or just working behind the counter, and can't wait to see what he went out and found.I'll be back.

Beverly St. Records and Collectibles is a great spot in downtown Staunton. Full of interesting treasures, knick knacks, and enough vinyl to occupy the experienced digger. Some great folk and Folkways gems, and more than a few collectible pressings mixed in. Jeff, the owner, is friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend.
