“Love this dollar general. Love the market part. They absolutely have the best watermelon that I've had this year. I bought one at Wally world and it was horrible I'm still not sure what that taste was but it was awful. Got one from Dollar General Market the same day I threw the awful one away and this watermelon is absolutely delicious.”

“Typical Dollar General. Very clean. Very friendly staff. Easily accessible with plenty of parking. Everything you need from toiletries, shirts, crossword puzzles, balloons or just a drink and a candy bar. Public bathroom, just ask for the key. Tight isles from all the stock. Staff may be busy and not at the check out, just grunt out or cough loudly and someone will come help.”
“Love family dollar but restrictions apply. I can go elsewhere needing items like suger free candies n such which give no options but to go to competitors like Dollar general which I hate but no option given!”
“Very friendly cashier there in ther evening at the Fayette St. Martinsville location. I usually stop by after work and it's the same cashier and manager working. They're always helpful and friendly and are kind and joke with customers who are receptive to it. Prices are fair and reasonable even when not on sale.”

“The store was fully stocked and had a great variety of selection. The employees were courteous and helpful. I walked in just looking for something to snack on and was surprised at the large selection of groceries. They have a refrigerated and frozen food section, along with all the other usual dollar store stock. Store was clean and neat. I would recommend this store if you're in the neighborhood and need a dollar store type purchase.”

“I love this place the stuff is really friendly, however I went to the store one of this day Friday 7 to be exactly and OMG there was a white young lady that was with such an attitude and being so rude to all customers I don’t know what was going on with her, it was the first time that the lady was there but I mean i say like if you don’t like a jobs that you gonna be talking to customers then do not get a job like that cuz I think that is not people’s fault that you be having a bad day.”
“It's a pleasure to shop here. I understand consumer demand &although there is another $$Tree near Liberty Fair Mall you need to shop there also. 30 % difference in products. Personalities are different for each store but they are all down home.”

“Customer service is great. Witnessed a woman who didnt have any money still get the things for the baby of hers. Reasoning unknown but care was showed this lady and I purchased what she had already returned and the lady behind me got the rest that was in the buggy. Wish there would be more of this in the world today”
