The staff here is awesome, helpful and friendly. Gift shop is small but there is a bigger one next door by the gas station that also has food and camping supplies. The museum is insightful. Only complaint is it us pretty small for the number of visitors even on a weekday.

A great visitor center with museum-quality exhibits and plenty of information about the park. We also enjoyed the meadow overlook inside that gave us time to take a break and relax. There isalso a small store with plenty of souvenirs.

Visitors center is nice. Exhibits focus on how it became a national park. A different view than national parks in the west that are preserving a unique area. This is more focused on preserving a representative area that is relatively close to population centers.
