“Typical middle of no where country stop. Friendly folks and decent snack/drink selection. Everything is cash only. The bathrooms are in a separate outbuilding outback, but it is running water. If you're expecting a new gas station this is not the place for you. If you enjoy the country life this is your stop on the way to/from Charlottesville.”

“There is only two pumps and usually you cant even use them because someone parked in front of them to go inside the store. The reason to stop at this gas station is not for the gas anyways, but for the food. Specifically the fried chicken. Its delicious and as the only fried chicken place here in Stanardsville, its the best. Potato wedges, coleslaw, and beans are available as sides. They also serve hamburgers, hot dogs, and fried gizzards on specific days. Get the chicken, you will not be disappointed.”
