I retained Virginia Is For Movers to move my property from the eastern shore to here in Northern Virginia Some of the many reasons I would recommend this company is their professionalism, competence and attention to detail. They went out of their way to make sure that my property was protected and was safely delivered on a timely basis. They did not quit until the job was completed and their “can do” attitude made this difficulty move much easier than it could have been. And this company is on by a female Brya Matthew and her assistant Marquis they are both people person have very good customer service they would try their very best to help you in any way that they can. Yes of course that was some hiccups but there's nothing drastic or anything that was blown out of proportion. I am still very pleased with a service.

They moved a bunch of shelving from my Richmond Stores to my Fredericksburg store and did a phenomenal job. Marvin, Isaiah, and Vincent are extremely professional, on time, and took care of my items and not just tossing stuff around. Would definitely hire them again.

Marvin, Jayden and the rest of the crew are friendly, hard-working young men. Unfortunately, it appears they don't have all the required tools and equipment other moving companies use to move everything safely. Now we have a lot of work to do removing scuff marks from walls, repairing damaged furniture, and grabbing items that were left behind. I would not recommend this company but I'm still leaving 3 stars because those guys really did work their butts off to get the job done.

Awesome! I will definitely be using these guys again! Booking the appointment was super simple. I didn’t feel any pressure to schedule when getting the estimate. Very welcoming. They were in and out quickly. Major kudos for carrying heavy glass/mirrored furniture up to the third floor apartment without any damages.
Good communication. Fair pricing and payment was easy and straightforward.

Ok. Let me start by saying the receptionist was PERSONABLE. She was thorough at the least to say YET she kept me laughing. Beautiful personality over the phone while taking the quote so I expected great service. When it came to the moving date everything was BEYOND IDEALISTIC. The movers were 15 minutes early, respectful, smelled good, smiled the entire time, was willing to accommodate anything I asked no matter if I felt I was getting annoying. I have moved 9 times in the last 20 years and this is the best company I have ever used and seen. I can't wait to call them back because they do have discounts to get you in the door but they also offered me discounts if I returned to them. Overall 10000/10. I highly recommend. Thank you VA4MOVERS!!!

If I could give zero stars I would. This company does not deserve even one star!. THEY ARE ALL ABOUT THE MONEY, THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR ITEMS. On July 28th My wife and I hired Virginia is for Movers LLC to pack and move our two bed apartment to another two bed apart that is 27mins away from the first. I reached out to the point of contact prior to our move with a few questions, Brya Matthews, whom is also the \\\"owner\\\". I was met with a very nasty attitude almost immediately, because \\\" the answer to my question was in my invoice\\\". After hanging up with her( more like on her) we just shucked it off and moved forward. Our scheduled time slot was 9am, however the day before I received a call saying they were going to have to push us back because of an \\\"issue\\\", I explained that we needed to be out my 5pm as the office where we were moving from was closing, instead of understanding, I was once again met with an attitude and told that my refund will be processed. I told her a refund wasn't an option. It was settled and the next day three movers arrived, and proceeded to pack our apartment....our time slot to pack and move a two bed apartment was 9am-6pm. The movers didn't finish the move until 4am the next morning. The movers were supposed to take apart and re-assemble furniture...that never happened. The put part of items into different boxes (like television feet) and did not pad and wrap other items (like computer monitors). There are items missing currently, and the company currently has possession of a bolt that is required to put a 80lb heavy bag back together. We found a broken television and a broken leg on a brand new ottoman so far and we are missing several items. We have reached out to the company, however they are no longer responding to messages or answering calls. And Brya, don't bother responding to my review, just be thankful I didn't post the text messages to show how you have stopped responding. Had I done my research prior, we would never have gone with them...seeing as how they have 1 star on yelp.
