Was my first time here and I arrived at 8:12 for an inspection and got in line where indicated. There is a sign stating that it takes 20 minutes per car so I expected a wait since there were 5 cars in front of me. After 15 minutes a car in the line left, this was the only time I moved forward. I waited until 9AM and the line for inspections never once moved. I went down the road to a different shop, the line moved every 10 minutes and I was done and out of there in 45 minutes with 5 cars in front of me. Not sure what was going on at Katz but with the line not moving at all I had little hope of even being seen today, if they were that backed up or were having issues they should've came around let people know what is going on.

Worst place ever and too extensive! I got two back tires replaced at this place but was charged almost twice the market price. I then had my car front tires replaced at Walmart with an even better brand for half the price. The 10% discount on 4 tires on their signboard is not an honest claim.

I went there to get my oil changed and tire fixed in my Mazda 3 they are absolutely amazing people, they all genuinely care about us the customers and are kind no matter what brings us in!!! 5 stars all day long and I highly recommend them!!!!

Finding a good mechanic is no easy task and when you do find one that is knowledgeable, has reasonable repair costs and provides great customer service you want to keep them. KAZ Automotive used to be that place. Not sure what has transpired or if under new ownership but the customer service at KAZ has now decreased
For example, if a customer comes into your shop and says, “my car won’t start it may need a new starter.” You don’t just arbitrarily replace the starter without doing a diagnostic first because it could end up being something simple as a fuse or bad battery. So why should a customer be responsible for all the costs associated with a new starter because the failure of the mechanic doing a diagnostic on the system. Your shop manager’s excuse is “well, you said it wouldn’t start, it may need a new starter so we replaced the starter.” Most customers are not ASE certified that’s why they come into your shop. What makes it even worse is that the owner is not even available to contact only through email and then they do not respond.

I was in from out of town and had a situation with my car. Visiting auto shops is often stressful for me, I really appreciated the way the people I interacted with listened to me and their willingness to help me get things fixed quickly.

Probably the very best service I have had from any automotive repair facility BAR NONE! After an initial misunderstanding and unsuccessful restoration attempt, Kaz Automotive DROVE THEIR TOW TRUCK TO MY HOUSE TO BRING MY VEHICLE IN FOR ONE LAST TRY. Success!! I am now cruising around in a fully functioning 1986 F-150! All work was completed within EXACTLY the original price quoted. I will recommend Kaz’s to all friends and acquaintances. When you’re there, make sure to ask for Chris. He’s a top shelf professional who will get the job done right.

I was dismayed by my recent experience at Kaz Automotive, where my vehicle inspection resulted in a failure due to the presence of a grill guard. Perplexed by this outcome, I sought a second opinion from another inspector who passed my vehicle without any issues. This inconsistency raises concerns about Kaz Automotive's inspection standards and has left me questioning the reliability of their services.

Kaz Automotive was my go to shop for my car needs. I had inspections to a tail light replacement. Future Customers Beware! I went there on 11/28/23 for my state inspection and I was told I failed and two parts needed to be replaced. Which were front bulb lights and a front strut which I was told it was leaking. As I was preparing to make the arrangements for repair. ..I checked all my lights.... they worked. I was shocked. I went to another shop to confirm the situation and I passed inspection today . Do Better Kaz or you will continue to lose customers.

Why this has only 4 stars is beyond me. These guys are honest and up front about doing the right thing. Sheehy quoted my alignment and 4 new tires at 1137. Kaz? 944. Personable vibe and are highly respected. I’m going to go there for my oil changes rather than the “free VIP” Sheehy gives. I should’ve done that a long time ago.

We have been going to Kaz for 20+ years. They have always provided great service and been upfront with what needs to be done. Chris in the front is awesome.
