The shipping and receiving department here sucks. I was here at 11:30 waiting on paperwork got my paperwork and arrived to the shipping door at 11:50. The inside worker told me they were going to lunch at 12 and then I should’ve been told that they go to lunch from 12 to 1 o’clock, however I was here at 11:30 customer service picking my paperwork up when I pulled around to the loading dock to get loaded everyone in the warehouse walked out and went to lunch. Talk about customer service.

Just finished a big move to storage for the contents of my home while I work overseas. The project took 4 days. I was thoroughly pleased with the quality of service from the various Hilldrup/United Van Lines crews that worked on the project. The team of packers, managed by Jessica and including Gabby and Fanny, worked carefully for two days packing up large collections of glassware, ceramics and other small items without a single hitch. They were thorough in their work, and Jessica was especially attentive to organizing the inventory. The catering crew was efficient and completed nearly ten crates in a short time. They cleaned up after themselves and left no trace of their work. Luis, my driver for loading and unloading days, was a pleasure to work with. He organized the inventory of furniture and crated items quickly and expertly. His crew, Fausto and Julien, worked very hard and took great care with some precious (and heavy!) vintage pieces. They coordinated their efforts and took only a modest lunch break before getting back to it. It was a marvel to watch. Finally, on delivery day, Luis and Fausto arrived ahead of schedule which was a big help. They made maximal use of the 10 x 30 storage space which left me some useful breathing room in the space. I am grateful to all of the crews for their conscientious and professional service. It made for a low stress experience. All in all, the project was executed wonderfully, and I would use Hilldrup and United Van Lines again in a heartbeat.

Josh, Christian, Alexander, and Gustavo were extremely professional and did an awesome job during our two day packout. Would recommend hilldrup to anyone moving in the northern va area.
