They provide the care and treatment, however have no regards to your time. They barley show up at the front desk and take over 30 minutes for a pickup, when they say they're ready for you to simply pick up your animal.

I found a kitten that we think around the 10 wk range. Took her to a vet in Fredericksburg. They barely did anything for her. She was only .97 lbs at this point, could not regulate her own body temp, and it was clear to me that she had eye infections, ear mites, and needed fluids. This was on a Thursday. Saturday came, and now I am at Pet Vet in Fredericksburg. After waiting a bit, they did let me know they were not an emergency vet, but they would do what they could to help her. They took her back to see what could be done. They ended up giving her subcutaneous fluids, meds for ear mites, meds for eye infections, and meds for an upper respiratory infection. After doing all of that, they suggested taking her to a vet versed in more emergency medicine. Pet vet got me an appt with the 610 Animal Hospital. I was very pleased with the care we have gotten there. He did some further testing and found that she was anemic and has liver disease at such a young age. Her liver was also enlarged, caused by the lack of food. He put her on medication for her liver, and I am happy to tell you all of her values have improved, and Izzy is now 2.55 lbs. We live in Spotsylvania, but the trip up to Stafford is worth it!! I definitely would recommend them. They truly care about the animals, and it shows in how they are taken care of.

I had to bring my cat in because he was not well. Unfortunately, he could not get better, and I had to make the terrible decision to say goodbye. Under any circumstances, this is an awful visit at the vet. However, the doctor and staff were amazingly supportive and genuinely caring about my feelings and my baby’s comfort. They all clearly love the animals which ultimately means the most. Just forgive the check in process (staff does not just sit at the desk as everyone is so busy taking care of the animals so you may have to wait to be acknowledged) and lack of seating.

I have been going to this vet for 7 years. After today I will not be going back. Dr.A used to care about his patients but now all he cares about is money. Was told by the girl up front that there would not be an office charge for a vaccine and after getting it, got hit with an almost $50 charge. When I spoke to Dr.A he basically stated it is what it is. I would definitely look elsewhere for your pet. Also why i was there i saw the girl up front tell someone that they must have mistaken put the wrong weight and age of their pet last time and laughed it off. Definitely not a place that pays attention to details.

On Saturday I was recommended here from PetVet cuz they were full & my cat was sick. I had just acquired him from the shelter 2 weeks previous. They accepted me last minute & even tho it was a wait it was worth it. 3days later my cat is finally feeling MUCH better! The vet was very thorough & knowledgeable & the employees were great. The customers in the waiting room waiting patiently were even great. Many of them had been coming there for years & had nothing but good things to say. I am sad it is sooo far from my home tho. That is my only complaint.

I do not have the vocabulary to properly convey the absolute care this clinic has for your pets. Im in the area from out of town for work, and had an emergency need for a very fast vaccination for my pet and 610 not only was the only clinic willing to see my cat same day, but the Vet Techs, the Veterinarian, showed genuine care that my cat received the aid. Phenomenal clinic. I can’t thank them enough!

Dr. A and his staff are amazing and the most caring and thoughtful staff! I highly recommend this animal hospital because they truly love their patients and he is a wonderful doctor. He never turns a sick or injured animal away, always working way past closing time!! Thank you for loving Ellie Mae you made crossing the rainbow bridge and the prior care and honestly so appreciated
