Friendly staff. Good flavor for the food, as well. The Belgian waffle was more bready than I would have liked but the taste was good. I'd return to try something else.

So I’ve had a chance to try their wings with what I believe is the garlic aïoli sauce. This was some time ago but I must say from what I remember the wings were packed with flavor and the meat came right off the bone. Very well seasoned chicken which is tough to find good seasoned food in the DMV area. Definitely would like to try again for sure

My food was great. I came across this place ordering off Uber eats the first time. I ordered in person today and the food is still amazing. No fluke here. I will be back :)

The food here is amazing! You can tell it was made with love and the best ingredients. The depth of flavor throughout was awesome. I highly recommend visiting the next time you are in the area. I will for sure be back!

I want to thank What The Chef for being a valuable participant in our 1st Annual TIGER CARE HEALTH FAIR at Tulip Grove Elementary School in Bowie, MD! The Cowboy Caviar was a HIT with students, parents and guests. We really appreciate how this healthy dish provided an option of healthy eating for our families. We look forward to partnering again!

I had nothing but the best experience with Taylor. She was very professional from beginning to the end. So many changes were made on our end. She accommodated all them with a smile. During the event, all the food was hot and delicious. If my organization ever has another event, she will definitely cater. Kudos to What the Chef!

When I ordered from What the Chef they were rated as 4.9 here. What u don't understand is why they aren't rated at a 5.9!! Oh wow the food was amazing, the team at What the Chef is amazing and my guests loved everything! I need to have more parties just to use them!

UPDATE: I recently received a response to my Yelp posting apologizing for the rude interaction and inviting me to give What the Chef a second try. In addition, shortly after this posting, I received an unexpected but very appreciated phone call from Taylor, who offered a very heartfelt apology for the less than courteous interaction and explained that the call was reviewed by her and used to better train her staff. Taylor then kindly offered me a complimentary What the Chef dining experience. I truly appreciate her reaching out to me as I didn't expect it. I am more than willing to put the prior experience behind me and give What the Chef a try. It was more than gracious of the folks at What the Chef to reach out to me and I truly look forward to a new and better experience.

Exceptional Catering Experience with What The Chef!Review:I recently had the pleasure of experiencing What The Chef's catering service for our Thanksgiving dinner, and I must say, they exceeded all expectations!Firstly, punctuality is key in any event, and What The Chef nailed it. The food arrived right on time, which was a huge relief. It's not just about arriving on time, though; the quality upon arrival is what really matters. Impressively, all dishes were hot and stayed warm until we were ready to serve. This attention to detail in maintaining the right temperature is something I deeply appreciate.Now, let's talk about the food itself - the prime rib was the star of the show! It was exceptionally juicy and tender, melting in our mouths with every bite. It's not every day you come across a prime rib done so perfectly, and it was evident that skilled hands prepared it.We're not usually big on chicken, but What The Chef's version compelled us to reconsider. The chicken was flavored perfectly - a balance of spices and herbs that was spot on, enhancing the natural flavor of the chicken without overpowering it. It's a rare skill to get chicken just right, and they absolutely nailed it.The entire meal contributed to a highly successful Thanksgiving dinner, and I must commend What The Chef for their flawless service. This place is awesome. Tried it for the first time and loved it - enjoyed our food very much! The only downside was our Lox’s bagel was missing cream cheese and didn’t seem to be on the same level as the rest of the food.Will definitely be back to try other items on the menu - just wish this place was open on the weekend!

The whole team at What the Chef is absolutely amazing. Their food is to die for and everyone you encounter is outgoing, friendly, and they obviously take pride in their work! Our tasting was so relaxed and they made us feel right at home. Then on our wedding day, they absolutely knocked it out of the park! All of our guests were raving about the food immediately, but we also got a lot of texts throughout the following week with people loving the food at our wedding! Everything was absolutely delicious, even the chef himself was at our wedding - he personally prepared our plates and later came out and said hi to not only us but our guests as well. We really felt like part of their family! 10/10, highly recommend and can't say enough good things about this fantastic team!

Absolutely fabulous! This venue provides not only a stellar dining experience but the food is flavory crafted in detail from appetizers to our main entree. I encourage all Yelpers and first time visitor's to frequent What the Chef, then procure their catering services for your special occasion. I think what impressed us most about their cuisine was the quality ingredients and attention to detail in the selection of menu items. Culturally inspired, impeccably served, and enjoyable throughout our three hour visit
