Very poor customer service and management. Cashier was very rude and racist. He was on lane 5 and he didn't card card us when we looked under 40. He displayed a very disrespectful behavior. We are regulars to the store but that changed tonight.

This giant had a good selection of items. Everything was well stocked. The vegtable and fruit look fresh. Huge selection of yogurt according to other family members.

During Covid we were running into a supply shortage at bakeries who could make cupcakes for my son's birthday. Not only did they pull out frozen dough in advance for us but they also designed this beautiful pull apart dinosaur cake! We'll be going here from now on for all of our bakery needs.

This is one star for poor customer service. The food is way overpriced compared to Aldi's and WallMart Superstore. Yet, occasionally they have good deals. My main pet peeve is the HORRIBLE attitude of cashiers. Say hello to them, they won't won't respond back. They toss your receipt and bags at you with attitude once the sale has been completed. They are just rude, nasty, and act like they are so far above the customer -- like they must DEIGN to serve lowly customers. I am nothing but nice to the staff here, but get treated like absolute garbage every time I come in here. They are snooty, arrogant, rude,.treat customers like they are so put out having to serve us. No thank you's, politeness, anything. Horrible attitude. Horrible service.

Based on the 4 or 5 Giants within my shopping universe, the one in the Saratoga area of Springfield by far has been the worst for more than a decade. Latest experience...dropped in today on my way home around 5 p.m. for ONE item....fresh crown broccoli. All out! At that hour!! Not blaming the "more senior" employee (friendly and cheerful) who has been there for years who stocks produce....the blame is on the shoulders of the conga line of inept managers who have passed through this store year after year. I imagine it's only a matter of time before the Wegman's about 5 miles away puts this store out of its misery.

I'm done here. The bagel had a hair in it? I have dark hair not blond so its not mine. And how do you get a hair in a bagel......SOB. Not to mention their Giant brand stuff has given me food poisoning so f buying giant brand stuff..........Just buy boxed stuff that they can't ruin by why when there is so many cheaper groceries. Costco put this to shame.

Great grocery store to get all your basic needs. Store is easy to navigate and items are easy to find. I'm giving this a 4 Stars because there are a few workers who could care less about being there. Plus there has been a few times where they could have opened up cashiers due to busy store. Example day is Sunday as they should know it's a busy grocery shopping day. They do have enthusiastic workers who do try to make the grocery shopping experience fun. Prices are decent and some items are really cheap like a loaf of bread. They have good donuts here. The Deli counter here is a great place since those workers are always friendly and quite helpful too. Great deli products too of course. It's convenient so I go to buy some things here and there.

First thing off the bat, and that's Giant is way more expensive than Aldi and other bargain grocery stores. The profit margin in the industry isn't huge, but I'd rather save money. Yet if I'm the area, this store has a excellent produce department. Yes they can be pricey, but they have some of the most fresh apples, oranges, along with a host of other fruits and vegetables. Their meat department is above average as well. Parking is no problem, and you'll always find a basket or cart ready to go. This store can at crunch times, be rather insane. They don't seem to ever have enough cashiers on duty. That can cause a headache, and you might finish part of a book on your phone in line. I will say this store is extraordinary in it's cleanliness though. All things considered it's decent enough. While there's nothing that screams "got to get here," the quality of their food is above standard.

This Giant location is a pretty good location. This location is as up to date or as new as other Giant locations, but this is a great location overall. If you're looking for great customer service, this grocery store has it! You should try their homemade guacamole, it has a little kick to it! There's also plenty of parking in the shopping center! And the shopping center here is excellent, there's chipotle, subway, Saratoga pizzeria, Thai food, Chinese food and a dance studio.

I like this Giant because it's very convenient to my home so it's great for picking up things if I forgot something or on my home from work. The staff in the store is usually friendly and helpful. The place is clean! They don't seem to carry as much as other Giant's in the area and sometimes the produce isn't great. I can't always find everything I need here and it's often freezing inside! Check out lines can be clogged up and some of the cashiers are quite slow.

This Giant has the worlds slowest cashiers! They never have more than 2 people on at a time, even at the busiest times. The new carousels at checkout make it nearly impossible to pack your own bags and really slows down the whole process. Everything "on sale" is a day past due and the produce is not the best.
