Great job! We dropped off our 2003 VW Eurovan for what we thought would be an expensive repair necessary to the suspension to pass inspection. The mechanic reported our suspension is safe, and we should check it again in a year (unless we experience problems he described). He was able to find our issue with the defrost immediately. Parts are hard to get, but we was able to fix the existing relay so it works now while we hunt one down. Other mechanics have not been able to repair the heat/fan/ac/defrost due to peculiar German wiring configuration, and we eventually had to take it elsewhere. We've taken a quite a few inexpensive extra family cars West Springfield Car Care, and they do a great job of prioritizing the work, so we can take care of the most urgent things first and schedule the others.

I called about the dreaded "Check Engine" light. "Swing by and we'll check the code for you." That was supposed to be the busiest time (3-4 p.m.), but I went in anyway. The place was indeed full of cars and mechanics talking to customers. I circled twice before parking behind a waiting car, and went into the office. "I just called ..." "Oh, Toyota ...?" before I finished my sentence, a friendly man told me "I'll meet you at your car." Two (or three} minutes later, he said the car had a fuel leak, possibly from the gas cap. He re-tied it and the light was gone. (Right, the light was on after someone else filled the tank). No charge, and I'm not sure it's appropriate to tip, but I will definitely bring business back here. The man, by the way, is Brent, whom was praised by several Yelp reviews. I am happy to meet him in person.

I was on my way to drop my daughter off to school, then head to work, and realized that my rear passenger tire was flat. As panic set it, I stopped by West Springfield Auto Care and they assisted me immediately. I was out in 10 mins total for a flat fee of $25. The level of convenience, quality service and overall professionalism are unmatched!

I traveled to the area for a short weekend just before Thanksgiving and the next day found a leak. Brent promised to squeeze me in and try to get me home within one day even though the shop was clearly busy. Within two hours they called to say that my coolant was leaking and the water pump and timing belt needed to be replaced. Since it was an old car, Brent agreed to give me time to find a new vehicle before committing to the work. He went ahead and ordered the parts to make sure there were no delays. A few hours later I bought a new car and showed up to pick up my old car. I fully expected to pay for the labor to run the diagnostics and maybe a restocking fee. But Brent said I owed nothing. He was a bright spot in an otherwise terrible experience. He didn't have to be as generous as he was. I am very thankful I came to West Springfield Car Care today.
