I recently visited the Vans shoe store in Springfield Mall to purchase shoes for my son’s birthday. Regrettably, the encounter was exceedingly disappointing, compelling me to share my feedback.During the shoe selection process, my family and I encountered an employee named Makayla. To our dismay, her demeanor was unprofessional and inconsiderate. When we attempted to try on a pair of shoes, Makayla approached us and asked if they were display shoes, asserting that we couldn’t try them on. Instead of offering assistance or alternatives, she briskly walked away, leaving us to resolve the situation ourselves.Subsequently, my wife had to approach Makayla to request to try on different shoes personally. While she did bring the ordered shoes, she provided minimal support and left us to navigate the process without any further assistance.After making our purchase, we decided to offer our feedback to the store management, seeking to ensure that our concerns were heard and addressed appropriately. Surprisingly, during this exchange, Makayla reacted unprofessionally and defensively, raising her voice and denying any alleged rudeness. She even suggested that we review the security tapes to validate her stance.I wish to emphasize that our intention was never to cause distress but to provide constructive feedback on the experience we encountered. I urge the management to review the security tapes. They will find evidence of Makayla passing us by initially and my wife having to approach her for assistance personally.What was particularly concerning during this incident was the escalating behavior of Makayla, which culminated in a situation where she had to be restrained and the manager asked another employee to remove Makayla due to her apparent agitation toward my wife over our feedback. In response, the manager asked us to leave, asserting that we had rudely approached Makayla which we didn’t.As someone who’s been to other Vans and worked retail, I must express my profound disappointment with the service provided at this particular Vans store. This experience starkly contrasts my past interactions at various other Vans locations, which have been positive.I sincerely hope that the management takes our feedback seriously and addresses the issues that marred our visit to the store. I wish no other customer had to endure such a disheartening experience while visiting the Vans brand.

Always love employees working there. i've caught some great deals there in the past. Prices aren't too unreasonable, but it is on the higher end of clothes.The skate services are exclellent. They'll assemble ypur board for free, they might even do it if you haven't purchased parts from the store.I've always felt pretty invited by the atmosphere.
