This store is always clean, the staff is beyond helpful and constantly go above and beyond to be helpful, but I really want to shine a light on Michelle the benefit brow provider- she did an amazing job on my brows and talked me through every step- if you need a great brow service don’t hesitate to stop here.

I was there for a curbside pickup and I checked in then waited. Twenty minutes went by and I checked in again. Nothing. It was super hot and I was just wasting gas so I left. No one is going to wait for a long time for an order. I let Ulta know and they didn’t care and just wrote me off. I will not be shopping at any Ulta ever for wasting my time.

It’s been 2 months since the remodel. They still do not have doors on handicap stalls for the restroom. This has been escalated to on site management as well as corporate. No one cares.
This is not an ADA friendly environment and is not safe for ADA needs.
Do not recommend. 0/5 stars if possible.
Floor staff ignore you. Management is nonchalant.
Mina and the salon staff are the only ones worth the time and effort for the visit.

I’ve been going to this Ulta and working with the stylist Betty T since 2021. The store had recently closed for renovations and once they reopened I immediately booked a 5pm appointment with Betty.
When I arrived for my appointment she was with another customer which I understand as sometimes these things run long. About 25 minutes later Betty had me come in and we discussed what I wanted (long layers, trim dead ends, framing around face). From there she proceeded to cut my hair dry (she’s never done this) and then she took me back to the sink for a wash. While washing my hair she left me at the sink with shampoo in my hair without saying where she was going or what was going on. After several minutes my neck was starting to hurt since I was still leaned back in the wash bowl. After about 10 minutes she returned and told me that my hair was very dry and that I needed a deep conditioner and to sit under the heat lamp. I told her I had limited time and asked how long I would be under the heater. It was then that she told me she had another client to work on and that regardless of me sitting under the dryer I would have to wait. I realized that while I was sitting in the wash bowl with shampoo in my hair, Betty was taking in another client and discussing how they want their hair cut! I opted to sit under the dryer since my hair was full of conditioner and I was assuming the cut was not yet complete. I was very surprised to learn that Betty had booked 2 clients for the same time.
While I sat under the dryer for 20 minutes Betty cut her other clients hair. When she was finished she came and got me and rinsed out the conditioner. She then took me to the chair and made several (3-4) cuts then blew out my hair. I was very surprised at this and it was not at all like the cuts I had with her before. At the time my hair looked ok and I was ready to get out of there. My appointment should’ve started at 5pm (started around 5:30) and since she had to work with her other client it wasn’t until 6:50 that I was finished.
Upon seeing the receipt I also learned that Betty charged me $10 for that 20 minute conditioner that she told me I needed. That price was not mentioned before hand and I still regret not speaking up in the moment.
Upon getting home, washing and drying my hair myself and seeing the actual condition of this cut I’m realizing that she essentially made very blunt end cuts and my layers are just straight across and not actually layered in. It also is totally uneven! It looks as though I cut my hair myself. I’m so disappointed! I’m disappointed in my hair cut and in the service provided. I’ve always been happy with my cuts and service with Betty, however this experience was unacceptable. I will not be returning because of this and wanted to post this as I would not want others to have this experience.

I was there yesterday, Thursday 05/23, looking for a foundation that wouldn’t dry out my skin. I asked two workers there about what would be best and Mallory helped me out. She’s such a sweetheart. Even though she was busy doing something else, she took the time to recommend MAC studio fix and let me tell you, it is amazing! She’s so sweet, very customer service oriented, and extremely friendly. If you need help, ask for her! :) -Joss

Great selection of beauty products. Prices are a bit high, and I super hate that all the staff have to push signing up for their membership program by threatening that you can’t return a product for a full refund without signing up. This kind of promotion relies on threats of restrictions instead of promoting benefits to the customer. What, exactly, are the benefits of the membership aside from access to NORMAL return policies? I have no idea- none of the staff have given me any info on benefits.
FYI, you CAN return products for a full refund without a membership if you return them within 30 days and have a copy of the receipt.

Cashier was rude and I have no idea why maybe because I was a 6'2" 275lb tatted up man lolll do better ulta..... usually get my cologne from online but had to take my daughters here so I thought I'd just grab them from here but tge service was so horrible I should have just spent the 500 at sepohra!!!

My wife went into this particular Ulta one night close to closing time and normally people get very uptight but we were approached by Kwasi and he was more than helpful and answered every single question that my wife had with a smile. If I ever go into Ulta again, I will make sure that it is the Springfield location. I can’t thank you enough Kwasi

This is my number 1 beauty place. Just took my sister there and as usual the employees are simply the best. I brag about this location to anyone that will listen. Here, it's ok to not know a lot about makeup etc. unlike others

As someone who prefers online shopping and the self-check out lines at grocery stores, I was very pleasantly surprised by Virginia's friendliness when checking out. She even let me know about a discount for the brand I was purchasing from so I ended up getting an additional item at a discounted price. Information aside, I think it's been a while since I had a positive customer service experience so I wanted to drop in and just say thank you for making me feel great about shopping there.

Please give these lovely hard workers some chairs to sit at the register. It’s not fair for employees to be standing all day.
