Great customer service! Excellent selection of meat! First time going here, we just moved to the area. The prices match the quality of product! We tried the jalepeno sausage, brats and Porterhouse all excellent!

- area in general is always busy all the time and people are stupid so just a heads up.

I am in town visiting my daughter and her family. They enjoy when I make some of their favorite Bavarian/German dishes. One in particular is Rouladen, a stuffed meat pocket made with thinly sliced top round. Most of today’s butchers can thinly slice the top round but it takes an expert to be consistent and precise. I believe I found that in the Springfield Butcher.
When I called to inquire if they were familiar with Rouladen the response was an immediate yes and could be done while I waited. Awesome! I ordered 20 slices, was shown the first cut to insure the thickness. One of the ingredients is sliced bacon and got the amount I needed while waiting.
Next day I assembled the Rouladen just like Oma made. Every one came out perfect in size. I wholeheartedly recommend checking out Springfield Butcher. I know when I return and dig into my German recipes and I need beef, pork or poultry, this will be my go to.

High prices, unhelpful and rude staff, and mediocre quality make this a place to skip. Routinely higher prices on everything in the store than any other local place. Staff won't give you a straight answer on anything and will often refuse to cut meat. Go to the whole foods across the street

The best!! Exceptional quality meat from folks who know their stuff and really care about quality.I go out of my way to shop here because I know I'm getting fresh, healthy product every time.They have grass fed beef as well as grass fed grain finished. Great prices for what you are getting.Product is hands down better than what you would get at Whole Foods or other butchers, from my experience.Easily recommend!

I’m a pescatarian, so i’m very happy with the fish and seafood Springfield. Butcher has to offer, and purchase chicken for my family. Springfield butcher always has fresh fish. I love their salmon and the chicken and beef are superb. I truly feel that I am feeding my family and guests in a healthy way when I purchase, my meat products from them And each person that serves the customers is cordial knowledgeable, and patient. I recommend Springfield Butcher to my family and friends.

We have been looking for a real butcher since we moved to Arlington.This place checks all the boxes. Great selection of meat, seafood, sauces and more.The staff is great.The shop is clean and bright and packed with meat!Very happy I found this place!
